I use Kanban Tool for personal organization. I use it to list all my tasks, and keep up with them. One of the most important features for me is the time tracking. After a day, I can visualize how I used my time and how much I worked in each task.
Pros
It is simple and modular, so you can always add functionalities when you need them, but it doesn't get overcrowded when you don't need them.
Cons
It could improve the recurring card feature, giving more flexibility of how we can set the periodicity.
Likelihood to Recommend
I found it very useful for personal organization. But I cannot say about the experience working as a team.
We use the (the scope) the Kanban Tool for tasks that need to be completed with our organizations. Often times for assigning tasks to who suppose to research a topic, create a presentation, send out marketing material and so on. The problems it address is knowing who suppose to do these tasks.
Pros
Give reminders
Can add attachments
Can add a link to a task
Add dependencies
Cons
cost lowered per number of users
integrations to more tools
better free tier

The integration with Teams is well suited. This works wonderful for my company. Our team can easily prioritize tasks based on their importance. It help our team identify and reduce inefficiencies in workflow. With great visibility in data our team can make informed decisions. Ensuring clear accountability and responsibility of team members
We use Kanban Tool to manage and have visibility for all of our clients. Each client is at different points within our process. The app lets us view our entire process and all of our clients on one convenient board. We can then drill down with each client card to identify tasks and follow up.
Pros
Visual designation
Ease of use and access
Connects with outlook to provide current tasks due today
Real-time updates
Cons
I like that the app continues to evolve

Most users looking at Kanban Tool will ultimately have a process that they work through. This is a great tool and very flexible for any business. Take your time to really review your process and the stages of the process. Kanban Tool will make it clear visually so you can see bottlenecks and areas to improve. I think this tool can be adapted to any company or process.
I use this tool for personal task overview. The tool is very beneficial when it comes to structuring your work. The tool allows access to time tracking, sorting tasks and projects, both by color and by assignee. I greatly recommend this tool as it can be used for individual overview. Kanban board for teams and to be used in projects across the organization.
Pros
It allows you to sort your work by labels.
You have a large number of reporting functions to view your tasks and time.
The board can be customized to suit your needs.
Cons
At the moment the use I have for a Kanban tool is met.
The Kanban tool support has e helped with finding the functions needed to optimize my work.
Likelihood to Recommend
The tool functions well if you would like to have an overview of your tasks. This can be done both by filtering by labels, or by hiding some of the columns that are not relevant for you during the day. Personally, I hide my backlog when I have created my daily tasks, and that allows for a simple overview when you just have your To-Do and In progress tabs open.

I do the whole project management for a Data migration project of a customer from an individual legacy system to SAP S4/Hana. Means Cards for data objects, for processes, swim lanes for departments like SD, Purchase, or Finance. I use it for control, status, and documentation. I use one for the whole project, and one for the actual status of each data object.
Pros
A card for each data object documents and controls the whole migration process
Cards for subtask like meetings, workshops and so on
Organization of daily work by email integration
Cons
the cards can be designed very individually, only the design is fixed.
Likelihood to Recommend
project management, private organization, company organization
PRO: Very simple and easy to start and use. Cards are very basic but can be customized and "powered up!"
CON: Boxes and cards should have a better/smarter resize. I'm using the lowest Zoom but since I have a lot of boards, cards, swim lanes, it can get crowded. However, it was the only product I've found so far that allowed me to do this.
OVERALL: I shifted all of our projects and tasks into Kanban Tool. Information that was scattered across emails, other PM software, and ticket trackers is now consolidated in several boards, with a simple and minimalist view of everything.
Pros
Overview of all cards, even from multiple lanes and boards.
Can be customized from extremely simple, to highly informational.
Support is great!
Cons
File upload/integration.
Card resizing.
User/account management.

Appropriate: I shifted all of our projects and tasks into Kanban Tool. Information that was scattered across emails, other PM software, and ticket trackers is now consolidated in several boards, with a simple and minimalist view of everything.
Not Appropriate: When dealing with attachments for cards, the popup to select/upload files is not very easy to use. I would like to be able to use the Google Drive integration to upload files directly from my computer and store them in a specific folder in GD.
We are using Kanban Tool to better track all of our Basecamp cards, so that we can see the volume of work on each person's plate each day. It helps us to see where a project is in it's lifecycle.
Pros
Allows you to see the flow of projects
Allows you to move projects into stages
Allows you to see what projects a certain person has on their plate
Cons
Interface could be a little more organized
Sometimes it gets sticky
Likelihood to Recommend
Kanban is great if you want to see all of your org's Basecamp cards in one place and see the project volume and flow. It is not a replacement for Basecamp, and can't be used as a complete PM system.
I started to use it in my previous company. It helped me to organize and prioritize my tasks and to organize my daily tasks in the most effective way. I could give priorities to each task I performed and to collaborate with my team in real time.
Pros
organization of tasks
helps in identification of bottle necks
possibility to work with the team in real time
possibility to customize options
Cons
I do not see any disadvantages at the moment
Likelihood to Recommend
It is the perfect tool to organize tasks- it helps to avoid working on too many items at one time (very helpful to identify priorities).
Kanban Tool is being used in places around our org to support agile-esque activities for remote teams. Our primary process is very stand-up meeting focused and the principles of the Kanban Tool are pretty close to in line with what we want to accomplish. It shows the movement of model-based activities across a project timeline.
Pros
It provides a good basic overview of where tasks are on a timeline (particularly helpful for a pull-based approach).
It provides a good collaborative space to have multiple folks commenting on multiple tasks.
It does a good job of managing very basic visual elements of an agile development cycle.
Cons
There isn't a strong UI on the tool. Customizations can be difficult to make.
There isn't a very robust communications component on the tool to facilitate conversations—it's WYSIWYG.
The mobile story isn't fully developed yet. It could stand to be stronger on mobile devices.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is good for pure development (software) projects that use agile. It is not as strong for mixed development efforts that involve more hardware or Q/RA activities. It breaks down a little when traditional project timelines need to run in parallel with agile methodology.
Kanban Tool is being used by specific groups within the Technology department and the specific business groups that are supported by the same Technology groups. Kanban allows team collaboration between groups whether it's technology or business. Both groups can view, manage and maintain projects using Kanban. The problem that Kanban solves is miscommunication, regarding project status, requirements, and deadlines. Kanban keeps track of projects for all groups and notifies groups of any changes to particular projects. This saves a lot of time for everyone and ensures projects are completed on time.
Pros
Kanban board is a great visual that shows every team member's projects and all the important information on a single page.
Kanban integrates well with JIRA to track and manage projects and quickly retrieve specific information on a project.
Kanban allows easy navigation with drag and drop features and smartly notifies the user of each action.
Cons
Kanban does not show the task or story clearly. You have to open the project separately to view the details of the project.
Kanban gives a higher level project management view but it lacks customization and personal settings features.
I would like to see Kanban provide mobile access to their tool, data, and board. This would be very useful for all companies and provide an increase in efficiency and productivity.
Likelihood to Recommend
Kanban is well suited for a fast-paced working environment for larger teams who want continuous communication with users. Kanban is good for rapid development and daily meetings for updates and statuses. Kanban is less suited for smaller teams or groups who don't require collaboration and constant communication with involved users. Kanban is time-consuming and it takes additional effort outside of your regular work to maintain and manage the tool.
