What is Lightr?

Lightr is an AI marketing platform for solopreneurs and small businesses that do not have an in-house marketing team. It combines competitive analysis, campaign planning, content production, publishing and performance measurement in a single product, rather than requiring users to assemble those functions from separate tools.

Conversational interface
The platform is operated through natural language rather than a conventional dashboard. Users state an objective by text or voice input, and Lightr responds with analysis, a plan, or finished assets depending on the request. Suggested prompts cover recurring tasks such as planning a campaign, auditing organic presence, or deciding what to publish in a given week. This removes the configuration and learning overhead typical of marketing suites aimed at trained marketers.

Competitive analysis and prioritisation
Lightr benchmarks a business against a defined competitive set across online visibility, positioning, content and share of voice. Output is presented as a ranked list of recommended actions ordered by expected impact, rather than as a metrics dashboard requiring interpretation. This distinguishes the product from tools that diagnose without prescribing, and from content generators that produce output without establishing what is worth producing.

Brand-governed content generation
Each workspace holds a structured brand guide capturing tone of voice, visual identity, target audience and positioning. The brand guide is applied to every generated asset, which maintains consistency across channels and over time. From a single brief, Lightr generates multi-channel campaigns comprising blog articles, email campaigns, social posts and original imagery, organised under campaign-level content pillars so that assets form a coherent set rather than isolated pieces.

Automated quality scoring
Every generated asset is evaluated before it is presented to the user, with copy and imagery scored independently. Users review pre-scored drafts, edit any asset in place, and approve individually or campaign-wide. This differs from the prevailing pattern in AI content tools, where unfiltered output is returned and quality assessment is left entirely to the user. Publishing and scheduling A unified content calendar tracks each asset through idea, draft and published states across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and X. Assets can be previewed in their native channel format before publication.

Performance measurement
Built-in analytics report impressions, reach, engagement and shares by network across 7, 30 and 90 day windows, with trend charts and per-post performance tables. Measured results inform subsequent recommendations, so planning is based on observed performance rather than assumption. Multiple brands Lightr supports multiple brands within one account, each occupying a separate workspace with its own brand guide, competitive set, campaigns, calendar and reporting. Brand voice, assets and metrics are not shared across workspaces.

Differentiators
Three characteristics distinguish Lightr within the small business marketing category. First, it establishes what to produce through competitive analysis before producing it, rather than beginning from a blank prompt. Second, it scores its own output before surfacing it, reducing the review burden on users without marketing expertise. Third, it closes the loop by feeding measured campaign performance back into subsequent recommendations.
