We used Mailchimp to market to existing users, newsletter readers and interested groups. Designing and executing campaigns for our site was fast and easy taking less than 10 minutes. Having in-house stats, opt-in/out and management, and performance KPIs made things smooth. The dashboard is simple and minimalistic with a lot of powerful information which makes for a great balance.

Feature Rich Multi-channel Marketing Tool

We use it to manage our Email Campaigns and use Automation to remind customers about purchases they did and to interact with customers who have added products to cart but did not buy those. We do use it for followup email where customers bought our products and are using then we contact them for further offers and upsells. Also, we manage multiple lists of our customers through this platform.

  • It seems a bit expensive as compared to competition
  • Customer support is good but still has room for improvement

  • It had a great impact, especially with follow-up campaigns, which brought customers back to our business
  • We could analyse the customers' patterns with email campaign reports they have, which also had a great impact to improve the marketing campaigns, which ultimately resulted in improved revenue
  • The marketing team became so efficient with the use of the page templates for email campaigns, which again was a huge plus and quick to create any campaign

We have used Intuit Mailchimp for email marketing, automation and A/B testing in our communications. We are in the process of integrating to our CRM creating landing pages for lead generation. Also we are debating if we implement SMS as well since we want one platform to concentrate all our efforts.

A majority of our clients are retainer-based. However, we do take on short-term projects, and some of these clients may not fully understand the breadth of what we do. We use Intuit Mailchimp campaigns to upsell existing clients and re-engage former clients through educational content, company updates, and industry news.

Pros

  • User-friendly platform.
  • Scalable solutions.
  • I see Intuit Mailchimp as a consistent and trusted brand. It's one of the first and although the brand has obviously evolved over the years, I still think of it as a go-to platform for email marketing.

  • More templates.
  • An easier way to make edits across desktop and mobile view.

We use Mailchimp to share our church newsletter to the congregations in our parish as well as to do blast text messaging for urgent events and marketing. we further use it to send blast emails to share community events and public service announcements for six churches in rural Farm communities.

  • Easy to centralize database with different tags.
  • Easy to monitor conversions and retarget warm clients.

Cons

  • The SMS creation can feel a bit clunky. Maybe some suggestions or templates?
  • I think an AI designer would be great. Input images or type.
  • AI client targeting. If an email gets a link click, the AI automatically tags that user as a warm client.

  • I use it for a very specific thing. Email & SMS marketing with existing contacts. It does this very well.
  • Reporting of the above info is fantastic.
