LinkedIn Elevate helps us and allows us to leverage our posts so they reach a much more targeted audience. This allows us to identify who matters most and ensure they receive our content.
The LinkedIn Elevate platform was used in our business to address employee advocacy and analyze talkability of our company on the LinkedIn platform amongst colleagues. This was really handy in a two prong approach. Firstly, it allowed us to analyze what people were saying about our business and at the same time helped us understand what we could do to use our employees to push news about our business on LinkedIn.
Pros
Track trending posts amongst colleagues on LinkedIn.
See just how much engagement is happening through your employees.
Allows you to better map our future content and ideas for success.
Cons
Can be really confusing for first time users.
Date ranges are hard to customize so you may not always get the most accurate reporting functionality.
Could always go into finer detail with analytics as you may not get the full understanding of why numbers have dropped.

LinkedIn Elevate Is perfect for tracking your colleagues and their advocacy across the LinkedIn platform. It really does help collect and analyze what your employees are saying about the business and just what is performing well. this really helped our business because it allowed us to create content and somewhat of an advocacy strategy to help push business news in a way that may traditionally not have always been done before. I will say that it may only work well if your company and it’s colleagues have an existing tradition of being known to share news on their own accord, LinkedIn Elevate is only good for tracking existing advocacy but without a plan to increase it across organizations, it may not be worth it.
LinkedIn Elevate is intuitive to use and allows us to take advantage of the social networks throughout the organization. This software helps us better pursue legitimate contacts. We are able to boost our reach with target audiences and help promote brand awareness and image to both potential investors and/or future employees.
Pros
We enjoy the pre-fabricated material that is ready to be posted.
Ease of use with LinkedIn Ecosystem.
Easy to share content through the advocacy program.
Cons

My understanding this that the software may be sunset.
Client support can have delays.

I like how it uses algorithms to determine the best leads to go after. It is comprehensive in the information displayed. The mobile version can use some work to be as comprehensive as the desktop site. It is a good way for employees to share their experiences throughout the company.
Lots of professionals share content – like articles, blog posts, and presentations – on social and professional networks to strengthen their professional brands. And lots of companies share content on social and professional networks to attract talent, and market and sell their products and services. But relatively few companies recognize that when they empower their employees to be social professionals, they not only change the trajectory of their employees’ careers, they change the trajectory of their businesses as well.
Pros
Easy content curation.
Seamless sharing.
Actionable insights.
Cons
Design interface.
Lack of support.
Laggy during startup.

Great way to have a social media that connects employees on a similar level as other social media sites but keeping it relatively close to the working force. This also helps get more quality candidates attracted and makes it easier for employees to help with the recruiting process in which they bring employees that fit the culture of the organization.

LinkedIn Elevate helped us promote employee advocacy and improved visibility of content to our employees, which they may have not been aware of otherwise.
LinkedIn Elevate not only flourishes in just my particular department, but it is used across our organization widely. Elevate is a phenomenal tool that allows users to access a repository of leadership, articles, videos and shareable content published by experts across their very own company. The business problem Elevate addresses is simple: How can sales reps, product specialists and company employees improve their social media presence and be perceived as a resource for information online? What once required hours of research on company blogs and creating lists of articles that I should post on LinkedIn is now a single pane of glass where I can filter articles that cover just my areas of expertise (Cloud, Banking) and I can schedule them to automatically be posted on my LinkedIn and Twitter. In 15 minutes on a Monday morning, I can appear active and relevant in my social media networks because LinkedIn Elevate posts the articles I saved all throughout the week. Amazing! I can't do my job without it.
Pros
Recommended times during the week to post content on LinkedIn in order to get the best engagement.
Flexible scheduling tool that plugs in with both LinkedIn and Twitter.
Super easy interface that any level of LinkedIn user can use.
Filtering feature so you are only shown articles that fall under categories you want!
Cons
If I schedule an article to be posted on LinkedIn and want to go back to edit it to have it posted on Twitter as well at the same scheduled time, this is hard and shouldn't be
For filtering content so the user just sees articles they are interested in, some of the filters are too broad. I work in Cloud. Cloud happens to also cover things like AI and Data, which aren't in my specialty. I wish my articles and content were just cloud software.
The pane where the user can see all scheduled posts could have a different view. They are shown in a list and aren't easy to drag/drop and change. This would be super useful on the desktop browser version.

I would strongly recommend LinkedIn Elevate to a colleague and have even pushed an initiative to my manager to get each member on my sales team an account. LinkedIn Elevate is perfectly suited for keeping your LinkedIn content and Twitter content fresh, up to date and relevant. It is so crucial for folks in the technology space to be active online, share with their connections that they have interesting articles and videos to share, and are worth connecting with to collaborate in the future.
There is one scenario where Elevate is likely not appropriate and that is trying to use it as just a content calendar tool for any and all social platforms. You can connect your Facebook if you use that for business, but Elevate is really better suited for scheduling content to be shared on your social networks of LI and Twitter to show your industry - whatever it may be - that you are relevant. It isn't as good for sharing funny videos/lighter social on Facebook for example.
