What is LiveVoice?

LiveVoice is a cloud-based live audio platform for real-time interpretation and translation at on-site, online, and hybrid events. The platform replaces specialized interpretation hardware with a BYOD (bring your own device) approach: attendees scan a QR code, choose their language, and listen through the LiveVoice mobile app or any web browser on iOS, Android, or Huawei. LiveVoice serves event organizers, faith communities, conference teams, museums, tour operators, and accessibility-focused planners.

Key Capabilities

LiveVoice supports three translation modes that can be used independently or combined in a single event:

  • Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) with human interpreters working from anywhere, including hand-over, relay, A/B switch, mute, and a video feed of the speaker
  • AI Voice and Text Translation in over 65 languages, billed by the minute
  • A combined mode where human interpreters handle primary languages and AI fills additional channels within the same event

Additional features include Live Captions in 65+ languages, downloadable transcripts (SRT, VTT, CSV), real-time event statistics, recording, branding and customization, Voice Activity Detection for cost control, Linked Events for multi-stage productions, AI On Demand (audience-triggered language activation), glossaries for AI accuracy on the PRO tier, and embeddable audio channels that can be placed alongside video livestreams on a website.

Differentiators

  • Combined human and AI translation in the same event, with the option to hand over between a human interpreter and AI within a single language channel
  • BYOD listener experience eliminates hardware logistics, hygiene concerns, and device distribution
  • Pay-as-you-go AI pricing per hour per language with no per-event fees, no half-day minimums, and no annual contracts
  • Self-serve administration at any scale, from small church services to multi-stage conferences with thousands of listeners
  • Compatible with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and any video conferencing tool; channels can be embedded directly on customer websites

Scale and Adoption

LiveVoice reports 4,000+ clients across 100+ countries, with 40,000+ admin users and more than 700,000 app downloads. The platform has supported 150,000+ events. Customers include ICF Church Zurich, Innovation Salzburg, Fifteen Seconds Festival, Salzburg Congress, Opera Philadelphia, Women in Leadership Conference, Willow Creek Germany, and JLU Group.

Pricing Model

LiveVoice uses a modular pricing model based on maximum concurrent listeners. Day plans and monthly subscriptions are available across BASIC, PRO, and PRO+ tiers. AI Voice Translation, AI Text Translation, and Live Captions are billed pay-as-you-go by the minute. A free test plan is available for accounts with up to three listeners. Non-profit discounts are available on request.
