What is Cvent Event Management?

Cvent is a cloud-based enterprise event management company offering software solutions to event planners and marketers for online event registration, venue selection, event management and marketing, onsite solutions, email marketing, and attendee engagement. Cvent's suite of products automate and simplify the planning process to maximize the impact of events. Cvent provides hoteliers with an integrated platform, enabling properties to increase business demand through targeted advertising and improve conversion through proprietary demand management and business intelligence solutions.

Cvent solutions aim to optimize the entire event management value chain and have enabled clients around the world to manage hundreds of thousands of meetings and events. They state they currently have nearly 4,000 employees and that their applications have over 300,000 users worldwide.

Cvent helps us manage event registration, onsite check-in, badge printing, and the mobile app. We use Cvent appointments to manage donor and advocacy meetings, and the agenda to manage sessions and registrant schedules.

Using Cvent gives us an overview of all events across our organization, enabling us to track metrics, registration data, and customer engagement. As part of our SMM program, we contracted with Cvent to consolidate all of our data into one place, rather than multiple tools that did not talk to one another and required a lot of manual work to report from event to event. We were using 1 technology for registration, 1 for a request form, 1 for attendee management, 1 for budgeting, 1 for sourcing hotels, 1 for contracting, and 1 for leadership overview/insights. Using Cvent allows us to use 1-2 tools to date.

Ease of contracting from an RFP to reduce emails with contract attachments. Track when a hotel views or responds to a contract and the ability for them to ONLY edit the contract in the RFP.
Modernize files and every area of the platform, such as upload example files, directions in the hidden areas, like how to mass upload session registrant changes or invitee list uploads.

The speed at which we can get insights on our overall program or one off events.
LIVE REPORTS are a game changer for stakeholders, so they don't need to rely on us sending updates.

Cvent Event Management helps keep internal meetings, networking, and engagement events streamlined. The consistent look and feel allows our employees to easily recognize the types of events they are responding to, without being stale or redundant. Keeping track of attendance is a breeze because calendar invites can be generated and pushed to calendars. We also appreciate the frequent new features being offered through Cvent!
