No comparison to Cvent.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Using Cvent gives us an overview of all events across our organization, enabling us to track metrics, registration data, and customer engagement. Having both our hosted and third-party events on the platform gives our executives visibility into the team's workload and where requests are coming in throughout the company.

Pros

  • Reporting.
  • AI features constantly being upgraded and added.
  • Complex registration paths.
  • Payments and invoice tracking.

Cons

  • Integration of registration features into the Attendee Hub, such as automatically blocking time for overlapping sessions rather than requiring session groups.
  • Pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Session visibility is complex and hard to set up.

Return on Investment

  • Clarity for executive review.
  • Flexible data analytics at my fingertips.
  • Streamline business process and stakeholder events program adoption.

Cvent Dreams Green.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As part of our SMM program, we contracted with Cvent to consolidate all of our data into one place, rather than multiple tools that did not talk to one another and required a lot of manual work to report from event to event. We were using 1 technology for registration, 1 for a request form, 1 for attendee management, 1 for budgeting, 1 for sourcing hotels, 1 for contracting, and 1 for leadership overview/insights. Using Cvent allows us to use 1-2 tools to date.

Pros

  • Training
  • Overview
  • Reporting
  • Insights
  • Customizable access.

Cons

  • Admin training assignments/push trainings to users.
  • Ease of contracting from an RFP to reduce emails with contract attachments. Track when a hotel views or responds to a contract and the ability for them to ONLY edit the contract in the RFP.
  • Modernize files and every area of the platform, such as upload example files, directions in the hidden areas, like how to mass upload session registrant changes or invitee list uploads.

Return on Investment

  • The speed at which we can get insights on our overall program or one off events.
  • LIVE REPORTS are a game changer for stakeholders, so they don't need to rely on us sending updates.

  • Track and keep attendance numbers.
  • Provide calendar holds.
  • Updated data.
  • Simple edit event information.

Cons
