Good choice for handling logs
We use Logz.io as a log aggregator, to bring together all the logs from different cloud services, and as a log explorer and analyzer as once the logs are in the same place it is much easier to review logs, find and investigate problems, and improve the logging of the products.
- Collect logs in a single place
- Makes it easy to explore and analyze logs
- Interface is efficient and user-friendly
- Although it works in a quite fast way, being even faster would be awesome

Value application - logz.io
We use it as a log management and log centralize collector. We pipe all our cloud application and SaaS platform activity and event logs to logz.io for audit and compliance purpose. Logz.io meet the needs and requirements for logs management for ISO 27001 audit and security risk & compliance.

Best cloud solution for engineers
Logoz.io is used in my company since the end of last year and we are using this tool for monitoring of our infrastructure, cloud and end user application. It's now being used by my engineering department and we are planning to use the security solutions on our networking section. We are currently running a huge infrastructure on the cloud as well as in our premises to get user analytics and in order to ease the log management we are using the Logoz.io solution. It's a great tool to manage the log data on both the cloud and application. We are looking forward to exploring more solutions that fit our needs from Logz.io.
- Well documented and easy to set up.
- Their alerting mechanism is really great especially when it comes to application monitoring.
- Our data analysis in Kibana is made easy with the solution for Logz.io.
- The issue checking and fixing is escalated quickly and is reported in time.
- The pricing should not be flat instead it should be like charge as per the usage.
- Lots of functionalities which we are implementing now lack proper documentation like the DevOps analytics.
- The alert on critical failure is a bit delayed and needs to addressed.

Logz.io - Positive logging and alerting experience
We currently use Logz.io as our primary logging tool for our applications. This is managed by the engineering department. Our primary use case for these logs is troubleshooting and monitoring of errors our production and test environments.
- Alerting - Logz.io allows you to set up numerous alerts and define the specific conditions to trigger these alerts, such as the number of occurrences over a specific period of time and severity.
- Notifications - The supported integrations with Slack and OpsGenie make it easy to set up alerts to specific groups or users, like those in a particular Slack room or OpsGenie group. This is good to reduce noise and limit initial notifications to those who really need to get it.
- Cost - In our evaluation to compare multiple error monitoring solutions, Logz.io scored lower than all the others we trialed, which I believe has limited us somewhat in potential solutions using the logging data.
- Retention - The 40-day retention period has been a big disadvantage when trying to investigate incidents that occurred prior to the last 40 days.

Monitoring of application failures at high speed.
We use Logz.io in the application development department because it works automatically to resolve any failure in the codes of the same, which allows us to have an infrastructure with great support and availability, and helps us focus on improving our applications and leave this great monitoring works to Logz.io. In this way, we are sure that if a failure occurs we will be able to notice instantly and be able to solve it immediately.
- Emits alerts inmediately if somenthing is out of the ordinary.
- It performs high-speed monitoring automatically so it does not require configuration.
- Does not require any maintenance.
- It has a very simple interface.
- It offers its users great scalability.
- Its price can be very high, so you should have good control of it to avoid exaggerated figures.
- Some functions can be confusing.
- It has limits to create subaccounts, which is a big problem for large companies.
