This is a great app for really basic mockup. You don't go for quality mockup but for fast and unconsistent screen that still demonstrates the workflow. When a precise work is wanted, it becomes a clumsy tool. This tool is best used when screenshots are imported and a workflow needs to be created. When you want to design an app from scratch, this is not the right tool.

However, Marvel is not suited to create designs and has no free plan which is a huge issue for small business that test apps during the selection process.
I used Marvel to make prototypes of websites and mobile apps for my clients. Using prototyping with my clients gives me more freedom to create, as I can start with low-fidelity prototypes, and follow the evolution with the client, preventing me from wasting the client's time and mine. In Marvel, I can show how the website/application will look on several different platforms, and the difference is the interaction I can create between the screens, simulating a more real experience with the final result.

A differential for me is the mobile usability test. It's super easy to know what we can develop in the project and fix it faster.
Another point that makes me want to use marvel is its clean and simple interface. It makes day-to-day a lot easier, not having to get lost in countless functions that we don't need.
the fact of being able to send a link to the project for the clients to easily access the prototypes makes it much easier, as he can access it directly from his cell phone or desktop. You don't need to have a registered account or download any application.

I really miss being able to duplicate, make a copy of the prototype I'm working on. Sometimes, I want to make a comparison with detail changes and without being able to duplicate it is difficult.
Compared to other similar services, I feel the animations could be more fluid and smoother.

I like using Marvel because it's so easy to share links with my customers; they just love seeing the interaction in real-time. However, for more robust projects, Marvel is still less efficient, whether in terms of the technical ability to prepare several screens. I feel as if maybe there could be more choice for animation transitions. In short, it's a practical application, but it still lacks functions for me to be able to use it only as a prototyping application.
At my company and in my own freelance business, I use Marvel to create very quick web and mobile prototypes to show initial designs and workflows to stakeholders. Marvel enables me to do this in a low stakes way early in the design process because I can get targeted feedback before building designs in deeper, more complicated ways without having to spend a ton of time and energy on the initial design. Specifically, Marvel is my go-to when I have very little time to get an initial design to a stakeholder. In the past, time crunches meant giving stakeholders PowerPoint slides, because that method of presenting design workflows felt quickest. With Marvel, I can present more realistic and effective prototypes to stakeholders in about the same amount of time.

It offers “just enough” functionality to create somewhat realistic designs to present to stakeholders and other designers. However, there’s a limit to how “realistic” those designs can be, given that Marvel has somewhat limited functionality around animations. Marvel is not a strong option for those who want to create very complex prototypes with many animations, or for those who want to edit prototypes on their tablet or phone. Marvel is a jewel for simplicity but starts to be difficult to use when creating complicated designs. For creating more complicated prototypes, I would recommend a more robust tool, such as Axure.

For a time, our UX and product teams used Marvel to create and test prototypes. This allowed us to conduct user testing, preview designs, and map out the user flow. We use Sketch for our design style guide and symbol library, and Marvel integrates with Sketch, allowing us to finalize designs before handing off to the devs.

Marvel is a very good application that allows you to assemble designs for web in a very fast and efficient way. It is a great help, since web designers can assemble their models of front-end interfaces and give logical sense to navigation. This lets developers have a log of ordered development. It also provides tools to see the CSS styles that use that interface, which facilitates the construction of HTML. From there, the designs can be approved by a client, and on the development side you can quickly implement those designs in an exact way per the design parameters already approved by the design department.
To me, this seems like a logical order of development, since it allows no errors of design or navigation within an application. It's also a great help to the developers, since the CSS code will have already been handed to them through Marvel.

It is very straightforward with a simple learning curve, it is easy to make adjustments to screens and interactions, and it is easy to send designs to clients. I still use other apps for more detailed prototypes, especially those with a large range of micro-interactions, but this is great for simple sites for clients like small businesses or personal portfolios.
I use Marvel for freelance web development tasks. I work as freelancer on upwork and freelancer.com and work as web designer and developer. I use Marvel for designing the wire-frames for the websites or the blogs. It helps me create the website design mockup very quickly as compared to Adobe Photoshop which I used earlier for these tasks.

Designing Mockups for the websites: Its very simple and quick to do, earlier I created not more than 2-3 mockups for the clients for particular websites and client chose the one, but using Marvel, the process became so fast that now I give them 5-6 mockups to chose the best one.
Option to make the website for particular targeted device. Earlier I only made websites for desktop/laptop or mobiles/tablet, I made my very first web app for ios for my client using marvel.
Now I dont just create mockup for the desktop version for my client but for all the devices which for sure makes my client more happy and gives a clear idea that what their web app or website is going to look like in iphone, or iwatch.
