Has an Edge in terms of managability.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Microsoft Edge as our Mandatory browser. We need to be able to browse the internet, and Edge provides the necessary functionality. Other than that, Edge integrates well with the Windows OS we use, and Microsoft Intune manages the policies.
Pros
- Browsing the internet.
- Synchronising settings through work profile.
- Being managed by Intune.
Cons
- Sometimes, some functions don't seem to work while browsing Incognito.
- I'm not sure if this is an Edge issue, but if you set up the Passwordless Experience in Windows and don't have Windows Hello configured, when you attempt to view a password, it displays a prompt that doesn't work.
Likelihood to Recommend
I honestly think it is perfectly usable in almost every scenario, unless you have an odd job that requires a browser with specific functionalities. I can imagine a hacker of some sort would need to be able to hide certain things that Edge probably cannot hide.
