Oracle Access Management is good for medium to large scale organization in providing a level of control management which is crucial in the day and age, very good auditing tool as well as assigning the proper access controls. A downside with Oracle Access Management or most bigger ERP is the customization piece for small entities.
We use this product to ensure our group of users who are on a very generous hybrid work schedule have the support they need when they need it. Most importantly we need to make sure the right person is accessing our system and with the correct authentication. This is important given it prevent bad actors.

Validate users
Cons
Better customization
Better integration

I would say situation where you have multiple ERPs or application you have difficulties integrating Oracle Access Management. One of the pitfalls of any Oracle product really. Really good secure platform so that's a plus especially in this day and age but that comes with the limitation of crowding out some moms and pops application for integration.
It create and manage security policies to control access to web applications and resources, and enforce these policies at runtime. OAM provides a range of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including username and password, multi-factor authentication, and OAuth-based authentication.
which enables users to access multiple web applications with a single set of credentials, and Identity Federation, which allows organizations to extend their identity management capabilities beyond their own network to include partner networks.
Pros
it provides a centralized framework for managing access to web applications and resources, enabling organizations to define and enforce security policies across their entire IT environment.
it is designed to scale with the needs of organizations, providing support for large-scale deployments with thousands of users and applications.
Cons
it is complex to set up and configure, which may require significant expertise and resources. Simplifying the installation and configuration process could make it easier for organizations to adopt and use OAM.
OAM's performance can be slow, especially when handling large volumes of user requests or transactions. Improving performance could enhance user experience and reduce the risk of downtime.

I was using Oracle Access Management at the previous company I worked for, and it was a very secure way to share access and prevent fraud, it can detect high-risk activities based on device, location, and behavior which is really important to keep the company data secure.
Pros
Two-step authentication.
Easily share access.
Advanced fraud detection.
Cons
A bit pricey but worth it.

Oracle Access Manager is a very important tool for network administrators whose job is to make sure that the company data is safe. The single sign-on capabilities allow for a better user experience across multiple applications while keeping the credentials hard to hack.
Oracle Access Management is being utilized across the whole organization to offer enterprise access control across on-premises and cloud applications. Single sign-on capability on this software allows team to simplify access without having to remember the logins. Security feature is another great aspect that enhances data governance.
Pros
Multi-factor authentication on company applications and services enables that data is not accessed by third-party users. MFA is available in multiple methods such as TOTP, SMS and email authentication.
By increasing login requirements reduces risks for users based on location, devices and behavior of the user when access is suspected to be high-risk.
By accessing company data from company on-premises and cloud applications, we are able to save time, which improves productivity.
Cons
The cost is a bit expensive for small and mid-sized companies.
Changing master password doesn’t apply automatically in all third-party services and applications.
Likelihood to Recommend
Oracle Access Management best suits all scenarios in any organization where IT applications and services are used. However, I would recommend business users in small and mid-sized companies to look for an alternative since the subscription cost can be extremely high. It’s okay for enterprise corporations to implement this, since it will help them access interlinked data from multiple on-premises and cloud applications in one tool.
Oracle Access Management is used by the whole organization and it is connected with maximum ERP and HR system. It simplifies the access management problem. [Everything is] controlled centrally by very few users instead of having a lot of resources dedicated to managing accounts manually in each and every system. It assists greatly in user account management and licence management.
Pros
User management.
Connect to other ERP system.
Cons
Better UI for configuration.
Expensive for midsize and small companies.

This is a great product. In the market you can find similar product from Dell, SAP, but this product is very well suited for companies that are using the Oracle ERP system. It also works well with non-Oracle products. It simplifies user and access management tasks. Specifically you can integrate HR and Payroll systems to any other system using My Oracle Access Management and it saves a lot of effort and time. It simply pulls the data from other integrated systems.

The product is our solution for SSO (Secure Sign-On). The solution allows users to sign in to one application, for example, Windows, and they will have access to other applications that require login without having to log in each time.
Pros
SSO itself is valuable because it allows the users to have one password. After logging in to their machine, users don't need to remember or enter additional passwords. There is no need to log in and log out many times, which saves time. Users log in to any application just by typing the initial password.
It is very stable; this is because it is a mature product, and it gets better with time. It improves, and I think that it continues to do so.
It is very scalable. You can serve as many users as you need to add. As long as you have the machines and infrastructure in place, there are no real limits to the scalability.
Cons
The product could be improved by simplifying changing the master password. That is, if you change a password in one place, it would be good to automate changing the password for all the gateways so that change is less complicated.
It should be more Customizable for Customer Specific needs.
Oracle Access Management connects well with Oracle Database but doesn't work smoothly with Microsoft AD.
Likelihood to Recommend
Oracle Access Management is well suited in big Organizations where there are more number of processes involved, Where one process depended on others. There should be an interlink between activities in such cases Oracle Access Management is well suited. There should be optimum utilization of resources. Oracle Access Management is less suited in small organizations as the Cost of Oracle Access Management is also high. It will be a waste of money and resources if you're not utilizing it to the maximum.
It is a really capable system. It is not yet widely used, but it provided some great benefit for the company I was working at. The plugin system implemented gave a lot of room to create specific user based solutions. It really served the company sites and the other infrastructure elements as it was able to be deployed to the different components. (Web was the main goal to handle.)
Pros
Pluggable
Scalability
Cons
Price is a bit high
There is a need to restructure your url-s to function perfectly
Likelihood to Recommend
Perfect for having it in a large organization, a bit of an overkill in small company.

We are using OAM to create our IAM for all external users. Currently, two agencies inside Minnesota are using it, and the plan is to implement the solution across all agencies. Single sign-on through one place for user authentication and validation will resolve multiple login architectures.
Pros
Authentication- It does help our users get authenticated, provisioning our back end systems.
Validation - We can validate the login using OAM via our individual business solutions.
Two-step authentication - We use a PIN number as part of the two-step authentication process.
Cons
Authentication and validation need performance tuning.
OAM connects well with Oracle Database but doesn't work smoothly with Microsoft AD.
OAM releases are not straightforward for version upgrades.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's great if you're wanting single sign-on, where you want to authenticate the user and grant the user appropriate access. I would say OAM does a good job in that case. Syncing with Microsoft AD is where I have seen it struggling, and provisioning through multiple application layers is also where it slows down the process.
