Pactolane
What is Pactolane?
Pactolane is a contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform for legal, procurement, finance, and sales teams at European small and mid-sized businesses. It manages contract drafting, negotiation, approval, signature, and post-signature obligations and deadlines.
Teams can draft from templates with dynamic variables, use a reusable clause library with approved alternatives, and route contracts through configurable approval workflows. PactAI compares contracts with negotiation playbooks and flags clauses that may be risky or outside the organization’s standard positions for review before signature.
Contract creation, negotiation, and approval
Pactolane supports template-based drafting, contract comments, redlining, and multi-level approvals. External counterparties can review, negotiate, and sign contracts without creating a Pactolane account.
Electronic signature and contract tracking
Pactolane provides a native simple electronic signature that complies with the European Union’s electronic identification, authentication and trust services (eIDAS) regulation and uses one-time password (OTP) verification. It also supports DocuSign, Yousign, and Dropbox Sign. Organizations should confirm the signature level required for a particular agreement or jurisdiction.
After signature, teams can track contract obligations, renewal dates, notice periods, and other deadlines through configurable alerts and reporting.
Integrations and deployment
Pactolane integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Drive, DocuSign, Yousign, and Dropbox Sign. The platform also provides application programming interface (API) and webhook-based integration options for connected contract workflows.
Pactolane states that the platform is hosted in the European Union and designed to support General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements. It is available in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.
Pricing and fit
Pactolane lists self-service pricing from €149 per month and offers a free trial. The platform is intended for smaller legal and operations teams that need configurable contract workflows, approval controls, signature options, and deadline tracking.
