We use Qlik Sense as a software for analyzing insights especially for our business proposal.

Our scopes include analyze the forecast of our offering, analyze our warehouse and the overall supply chain, make drill down of all activities during the offering phase (for example, analyze the hit rate and success of our offer)

We have tried a lot of BI software during our PoC phase and Qlik Sense is the most simple to use because despite of some improvements I could suggest, it's very efficient and simple for making fast and useful insights for our business.

Copy of data. There is no easy way to copy a piece of information. You have to download the whole tab.
Managing the access could be easier.

Qlik Sense is a wonder analytics tool where we can easily visualize the data from multiple sources.

It can easily handle large datasets from different streams which help us to save lot of manual effort and help to generate meaningful insights.

It has a clean and easy to understand user interface which could be learn by any new team member.

Pros

Easy to generate multiple graphs, pie charts and help to create new dashboards without much efforts
We can able to view the reports on Mobile and integrate Qlik Sense with other tools with ease
It is a cloud based application which we access from anywhere.

Cons

Predictive analytics options must be included with various other statiscal functions.
Customisation is quite limited compared with other analytics tool.
It has limited data importing options which must be enhanced

All excel work related to dashboarding and daily metrics are easy to create in Qlik Sense with better visualization with interactive dashboard.

Sometimes it create issues while handling large amount of data majorly above 5 GB which leads to less efficiency and increase latency of Qlik Sense tool that required enhancement.

We use Qlik Sense to sales and purchasing dashboard, mananing the granularaty in sales order, items and clients by day. Daily, our users can to access these datas and analyse the company performance. We have something about 100 people accessing and extracting data to enrich the analysis tha are delivered to providers, clientes, company managers and C-Levels.

Absence of Desktop Tool, in the past we had the Qlik Sense desktop to train people to make dashboards
Free Extension to extract data to files like xlsx, txt, csv
Best management of logs repository, in sometimes a lot of space in the disk is ocuppied by these files, it would be deleted after a determined time.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited when we are in a big ETL, in another tool at some moments, it's a hard question. It's less appropriate when we are training colleagues that never used a BI tool, or when structuring a data area, especially because of the missing of a QlikSense Desktop tool for free.

Qlik Sense is an amazing tool for reporting data from multiple sources and to do it well on great interface and reporting graphics, but nowadays there are much competition and Qlik Sense have to keep cost-effective against solutions that might have a very good cost or even some "free" tools like Google Data Studio for instance.

The intelligent technology of Qlik Sense educates us to be much more accurate in each of the processes that we build, that is to say that this program is an accomplice to manipulate our data.
One of the greatest virtues that this program offers us is that it considerably increases the speed with which we can act and the efficiency of our operations.

Cons

It is very important that each one of the new users of this program have prior knowledge or some type of course with programs similar to this one in order to get the most out of it, since otherwise it would be complicated to manipulate the program.
This program can offer much more and cover other stations, it has the potential to include many more resources that strengthen the skills of its users, unfortunately the updates do not change much.
