Qlik Sense Business

Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense

Qlik Sense is used to create reports with data from SAP. It helos to combine diferent SAP transactions and data for reconciliation and anayst purposes.

Pros

  • SAP data presentation
  • Filtering
  • Merging data from different sources

Cons

  • Copy of data. There is no easy way to copy a piece of information. You have to download the whole tab.
  • Managing the access could be easier.
  • Helps to present and track KPIs shared with múltiple stakeholders.
  • Presents the data in a more user friendly manner.
I think that it is very useful in áreas managing large volume of data. Aditionally it is very useful when providing data to stakeholders without giving them access to the data source (for example SAP).
We use both Qlik Sense and QlikView. Both bring valué. However, due to simpler development Qlik Sense is the main tool.

Creating customized reports with data from different sources. Giving people access to information without granting them access to source (for example SAP transactions). These are well suited scenarios.
