No more asking people to come in for id scans

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use RapidVerify to onboard our parents and other authorized pickup persons by verifying their license. Previously, we were having the parents or other people come in to the office and we would copy their license to have on file. We do this to make sure who is authorized to pickup the kiddos.

Pros

  • Takes away the need to have parents and other people come in to do id scans.
  • Parents can now do this wherever they are at. Some parents have expressed its easier than having to wait to get this done like they have in the past.
  • We get a copy of the license that we can import directly into our current sofrware.

Cons

  • More details on why the id check failed. We had one case wherein it failed. We were able to ask support, but it would be nice if the report included this in more detail.

Likelihood to Recommend

It has worked great for our center. We not only get a copy of the license but we also get the selfie they take when doing the id check. This allows us to put a face to a name instead of asking them to pull out their id so we can check their name. You can always feel the frustration with some parents when we ask them to do this.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

On-boarding new hires remotely can sometimes be tricky without in-person id checks. But we were able to employ RapidVerify for our needs through a free trial offered by them. For our particular use-case we needed to verify the identities of two new remote employees. We wanted to have something in place that was more reliable than looking at an id via Zoom.

Pros

  • The id verification page was very helpful in explaining their solution.
  • The entire process was very quick from us sending out the request to getting back results.
  • The verification report included many details I did not expect which was nice.

Cons

  • Since the verification came back as verified, we did not know what would happen if it failed, some examples or use cases published on their site would be helpful in this case.
  • A white paper explaining how this could satisfy I-9 requirements.
  • It would be nice if we could customize the verification report generated.

Likelihood to Recommend

Having to verify their identification via Zoom call over a fully online solution, we love the online solution much better for our internal processes. Our only use case is verifying identities for on-boarding new hires but RapidVerify exceeded our expectations as we have never used an online solution for this, everything was always done in-person or trying to review documents over Zoom.

Easy and Quick Identity Verification

I was tasked with ensuring our a remote contractor underwent identity verification per our firm's policy. In the past, this was a process that was done manually, but we decided to try RapidVerify to streamline the process as the firm is looking to reduce manual processes and focus on implementing more automated processes.

  • Quick turnaround of verification results
  • Fast onboarding process

  • A case study on other companies who implemented this solution
  • More how-to guides
  • Be nice to have this integrated with our internal software

Likelihood to Recommend

Overall, I was very impressed with Rapid Verify's offering. The onboarding process was quick and easy. For us, the turnaround time in getting results was the biggest benefit. It would be nice if we could integrate this in our current software we use internally as this would prevent us from having to switch between platforms to get this done.
