Overall Satisfaction with RapidVerify
On-boarding new hires remotely can sometimes be tricky without in-person id checks. But we were able to employ RapidVerify for our needs through a free trial offered by them. For our particular use-case we needed to verify the identities of two new remote employees. We wanted to have something in place that was more reliable than looking at an id via Zoom.
- The id verification page was very helpful in explaining their solution.
- The entire process was very quick from us sending out the request to getting back results.
- The verification report included many details I did not expect which was nice.
- Since the verification came back as verified, we did not know what would happen if it failed, some examples or use cases published on their site would be helpful in this case.
- A white paper explaining how this could satisfy I-9 requirements.
- It would be nice if we could customize the verification report generated.
- Trying to coordinate a Zoom call to verify documents is always a little unappealing but doable. But RapidVerify allowed us to coordinate verifying our new hire identities on a time that was convenient for the new hire. One new hire performed the verification at two in the morning!
- We now have a paper trail of the verification than relying on a yes we did perform this check.
We asked our IT guy and he mentioned maybe we should try Plaid, but when looking at their offering, we would have had to get a developer to set everything up and it all seemed too complex for our needs. We are not a large company and we wanted something simple and easy to use. With RapidVerify, everything just worked.

We wanted something easy to use. Ease of use was a big factor in us pulling the trigger on trying out this platform. RapidVerify offered us two free verifications to try out their platform, that weighed somewhat in our decision. Timing was probably the biggest factor as we were thinking about moving away from verifying identities over Zoom.
There is nothing we would changed in our overall selection process as we did not spend a long time evaluating products. We simply wanted something that was easy to use, economical, and that provided us with a paper trail of verifying identities.
