A bit dated but very useful software overall at the site level
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We primarily use Revizto for site level viewing of the model. This allows us to identify clearance issues and ensure that we know which lines are going where with respect to mechanical systems.
Pros
- Identifying pipe routing, type and material
- Clash avoidance
- Identifying specific spool tags to ensure you are putting the correct prefabricated pieces into place
- Identifying issues in the field and creating a workflow for closing them.
Cons
- The overall UI is incredibly dated
- The system needs to rely less on local storage as jobsites will often have limited internet connection limits
- The system needs to be faster
- More robust measuring tools as it is fairly limited and difficult to tag specific locations
Return on Investment
- Reducing installation hours
- Helping with the feedback loop from the field to the BIM department
- Tight integration with Revit
