Robin Review.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to book rooms for general meetings with clients or our colleagues.

Pros

  • The UI is relatively easy to use.
  • I like that Robin is fully integrated with all our rooms; we can see into different levels, not just our own level.

Cons

  • Cancelling out my reservation for the room if I miss the mark on check in.
  • Not sure if it's a bug, but sometimes I have to repeat my reservation if I don't get it confirmed or have a notification of confirmation the first time.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it is very well suited for any organization that requires a booking system for limited spaces, such as meeting rooms or desks, if the company runs a hybrid work/hot desk situation.

Employee Review of Robin - Easy and Time-saving!

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization uses Robin mostly for meeting room bookings - it secures that we will have the meeting rooms we need at the times we need them; even if last minute. It's great that we can schedule these far ahead so we can be sure we'll have the rooms we need without scramble, but even if last minute I love being able to see what rooms are available at a glance with the map feature.

Pros

  • Integration for booking (with office technology, schedule, sharing, and email)
  • User-friendly
  • Effective design
  • Organization (booking specific rooms/desks for specific windows of time)

Cons

  • The time option being more apparent/prompting to select ASAP when entering site - sometimes I accidentally am looking at desks/meeting rooms for the wrong time/time period because of this and waste time
  • Option to block calendar or not (or make this feature more obvious)
  • Book on behalf of a team more easily, or hand off to someone (book on behalf)

Likelihood to Recommend

There is an option in our office to use a tablet outside of a meeting room to book a room (which is red when booked, green when not), and not sure if this is a Robin integration, but it would be great if there was a yellow for when there is 5 minutes left of a meeting. That being said, while this is super helpful, I see coworkers running around the office looking for a "green" room; and recommend they just use the Robin web app to avoid all the running around since they can view and book almost instantly!

Pros

  • Shows what is available
  • Tailored to our organisation
  • Links with Microsoft Outlook

Cons

  • Required a lot of initial setup
  • Unsure what other features are available

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My organization has been using Robin for meetings and organizing our work environment for a while now. We use it to book conference rooms and it gives us an automated view of available rooms and the available resources in the rooms. Apart from booking meeting rooms, Robin has been effective in arranging our workspace; one is able to easily reserve a desk and once a desk has been booked or one has been freed, it updates immediately on the office map.

Pros

  • Automated visibility of the office.
  • Real time view of conference rooms.
  • We are able to easily plan teams and book desks beforehand.
  • Alerts on arrival of visitors.

Cons

  • There was a time when it had glitches; I wanted to confirm my but got cancelled rather than being confirmed.
  • Clarity for when checking in and checking out.

Likelihood to Recommend

Robin is an intuitive app that has helped our employees manage their office spaces. We are able to easily choose desks that are yet to be reserved since it clearly shows spaces that have been reserved at any given moment. I love that we can see where my team is seating or who is going to be a the office on a given day.

Robin is a reliable and easy to use product. I would highly recommend for all types of organizations!

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Robin for signage all throughout our buildings. This product is very reliable and easy to use, and it allows for a much easier way to keep track of what meetings are scheduled in each room. It has been a very good upgrade for our organization, and we will continue to use it.

Pros

  • Clear signage
  • Easy to use
  • Updates in real time

Cons

  • Can lag on some updates
  • More functionality would be nice
  • Updates happen too slow

Likelihood to Recommend

Robin is well suited for a variety of uses and for a variety of organizations. It is appropriate for signage and for making sure that people know what is going on in different rooms or spaces in buildings. It is less appropriate for outside uses and for buildings that have weaker networks.

Enjoying Easy Meeting

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Is used in our company for keeping track of current conference rooms to help schedule conference rooms between departments such as HR departments, Purchasing Department, and Financial Department ...... etc. use as well as presenting an aesthetically pleasing display to our customers. Robin also is all about scheduling access to shared rooms and offices. Great to optimize the workspace with the current situation.

Pros

  • Easy to find what's available
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Office maps are sometimes difficult to navigate by mobile phone.
  • Lose your reservation if you forgot to check-in.

Likelihood to Recommend

Since we are small organizations and may not benefit such as other companies from the same features and benefits as analytics. They may have questionable use due to the low turnout around a smaller office.

Robin is Fantastic

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Robin to book rooms for important meetings with clients as well as team members.

Pros

  • Robin shows the floor(s) layout at my building very clearly.
  • Robin shows which areas are booked up and which are available in a very easy to see fashion.
  • Robin makes reserving spaces easy as can be.

Cons

  • I have yet to see an area where Robin needs improvement. I think any large company, especially those with multiple floors, should use this software.

Likelihood to Recommend

My role requires multiple meetings almost every day, and sometimes these meetings are spur of the moment. Robin allows me to easily and quickly access and reserve spaces so I can easily make my meetings. Without Robin, reserving spaces in my building with 500 co-workers would be chaotic at best.

Great experience to interact with this platform.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Robin provides the best user interface and experience as compared to other apps like Zoom, Teams, etc. We use Robin in our organization to conduct meetings and conferences. It is a handy tool and provides a better experience. One problem that this software addresses is making the decision of how many rooms and the size of each room that is needed to better serve the members.

Pros

  • Conference room check-in
  • Automatically updates to the new version when launches
  • Easy to setup
  • Cloud based system requiring no infrastructure

Cons

  • Some add-ons and features are overly priced
  • Price for professional version is $1,500 which is expensive
  • No free version available
  • Less used product in the market

Likelihood to Recommend

Robin is well suited for a better user experience in virtual meetings and conferences. We were dependent on Robin for providing better engagement and productivity by reducing friction throughout the day. Specialized tools for space management to optimize the office suited this product well but felt Robin was less appropriate for desk management jobs.

An efficient workplace management tool that facilitates team collaboration

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Robin as a workplace management platform, to allow employees to book and reserve office space, both for individual usage or for booking shared spaces and meeting rooms. The product replaced a comparatively clunky internal system that was hard to interpret and time-consuming to use. Robin is quick, easy, with good visualisations to help the process work more smoothly and intuitively.

Pros

  • Excellent visualisation of booking space
  • Good ability to group team members for collaborative working
  • Efficient system for the booking of shared workspaces
  • Provides at-a-glance view on office capacity

Cons

  • Team working elements are slightly limited in scope
  • It can be challenging to benefit from all collaborative elements when working across multiple teams
  • n/a

Likelihood to Recommend

Very well suited to managing office space and capacity in comparatively large-scale organizations, particularly if - as in our offices - navigating meeting rooms and locations can be quite challenging. The app also works well, however that does infer a need for a certain level of tech knowledge, as those who are less familiar with using phone apps for professional purposes may find there to be a small learning process. Ultimately Robin provides a far better and more efficient solution than the previous booking system, which was prone to issues and time-consuming.
