Not a good experience with Safeguard Global, basic processes went wrong and poor customer service
We selected Safeguard Global to handle payroll for a German employee -quite a straightforward EOR (employer of reference) case as we're a UK-baed company with no German office.

- patchy and slow customer service
- disjointed offboarding and onboarding processes
- poor customer experience overall
- Allowed us to hire a German employee but at a fairly high cost
- Lack of customer centricity and a really heavy handed approach to customer service.
- Really poor client communications.
- Some basic processes were not performed adequately.
It was the cheapest at the time and to be honest we were not impressed with other players except Remote and Papa but they were way more expensive.
No, wasn't aware it was even an option. Would not have considered it anyway due to the simple nature of the contract.
