Use Cases and Deployment Scope

All my documents are in Sherpany so it’s easier for me to find the information I need instead of using channels and SharePoint. And all the board and management team uses it.

Pros

  • Don’t have to worry about security.
  • Everyone has access to the latest version of the documents.
  • The approval and distribution of minutes are also simplified.

Cons

  • It would be great if Sherpany could automatically be upgraded.

Likelihood to Recommend

Sherpany helps us to retrieve information from previous meetings quickly. Participants for conferences can be contacted and their records can be viewed every time, wherever, and whether they are provided by the data they collect.

I can hardly imagine how we could handle meetings efficiently today without Sherpany

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Sherpany both on C-Level as well as Senior Management across the whole firm. It covers all our needs to organize and conduct efficient meetings, document their outcome, management of resulting tasks and decisions and providing useful information through its library function. I introduced Sherpany in several of my active board memberships, to increase efficiency of Board Meetings and quality of corporate governance of companies concerned.

Pros

  • It helps to streamline our entire decision making process, from strategy to managing tasks
  • It greatly supports to align all members of the board, EC and other senior functions ahead, during and after a meeting
  • it simplifies the preparation of meetings, distributions of meeting documentation with a very convenient off-line function to enable during flights and travel works and meeting preparations

Cons

  • pricing, particularly if an organization would like to roll-out Sherpany on all managerial levels, investment in Sherpany is compared to its peers at upper level.

Likelihood to Recommend

First class meeting management solution to cover all needs of a professional Board, EC and Senior Management. Due to pricing structure less appropriate to roll it out across entire company to include middle and lower management, too.

Perspective of a baord member

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Sherpany as a meeting platform and as an information distribution system among board members. We also use it to give board members access to important documents.

Pros

  • It makes preparation for a board meeting very easy.
  • It allows us to easily retrieve data from earlier meetings.
  • It helps me to keep track of important information.
  • It avoids the need (and burden) to carry around paper binders.

Cons

  • An automated update process would be nice.

Likelihood to Recommend

It works very well for the preparation of meetings and is also very helpful during a meeting when there is a need to check earlier decisions or presentations. Communication around the board table is also easier if everybody can check a document on his/her device (rather than having everybody stare at a screen in the front of a conference room).

Make “paperless” reality

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Sherpany is used on the board level and for the pension fund organization. It makes the preparation and organization of meetings much easier and quicker and reduces paper. The main advantage for all board members is that documents are always ready and available.

Pros

  • Store important documents safe in a central place
  • Keep all important documents, even from years ago, always available
  • Inform every member at the same time

Cons

  • Possibility for private conversations between board members

For all meetings on all levels

Sherpany Review

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Sherpany Boardroom for all the Bank (Executive Committee, Committee of the Board, Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Credit Committee and two more committees). We count, for the moment, 53 users in the Bank and it's just the beginning! We don't use any paper anymore and all our members are very happy with this solution.

Pros

  • Preparing meetings and providing pre-read material is simpler and less time consuming than the old-fashioned paper-based approach
  • Flexibility is increased as it is easier to amend, change, add or update documents
  • The meetings’ participants can be reached and they can access their files anytime, anywhere and one can monitor whether the information aimed at them actually reached them
  • User-Friendly

Cons

  • Provide less new version of the app

Likelihood to Recommend

As an assistant, Sherpany is an excellent tool to organize a meeting, save time and allow me to be more proactive. I can also organize several meetings at the same time, it's really practical. For our board members, they can access securely and in real time all meetings and documents with one single login - even with multiple mandates.

Sherpany Boardroom Review

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

[It's] Only used for board of directors meetings and as a document library.

Pros

  • Reliability
  • Clear structure
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Changes with new versions should be well communicated in advance and consider in more detail the impact on existing boardrooms
  • Too expensive
  • Generally, more possibilities for customizing e.g. it should be possible to define security levels for access individually (why do I have to retype my email every time I synchronize?) or it should be up to the users whether and how they want to use labels (why can I only have one label per document?)

Likelihood to Recommend

It is an excellent tool for distribution of documents to the board of directors. However, especially for larger documents, it is not easy to flip from one page to another or to compare two pages side by side. This usually takes more time than on "normal" paper. However, these restrictions are also driven by the limits of today's hardware.
