What is Simple RetailPath?

Simple RetailPath is a retail marketing platform from Simple Marketing Solutions (simple.io) that connects product information management (PIM), retail promotion production and vendor onboarding in one system — managing the journey from vendor data intake through to marketplace-ready promotional content. Standalone product.

Who is it for?
Retailers, grocery and FMCG brands, and e-commerce teams managing large volumes of product-specific marketing content across catalogues, eDMs, websites and marketplaces. Used by The Good Guys, Spotlight Group, Mitre 10, IGA, Baby Bunting, Betta and Winc.

What does each module do?
• PIM Library: centralises product information and images, integrates with ERP systems (SAP, Pronto, RMS), and delivers marketing-enriched product data to websites and marketplaces.
• Retail Promotion Management: produces eDMs, catalogues, website promotions and marketplace events with mud-mapping tools, studio-ready briefs, online proofing and multi-tier approval workflows.
• Vendor Onboarding: automates product data intake from suppliers using structured templates and validation workflows to ensure PIM data quality.

How does it differ from a standard PIM?
Simple RetailPath combines PIM with retail promotion production and vendor onboarding — the three stages that must work together for retailers to get product information from supplier to market efficiently. A standard PIM manages product data storage and distribution but does not include the promotional content production and approval workflow that retail marketing teams also need.
