We use Splash Event Marketing Platform for events where we want to do event RSVP tracking and analytics. The business problems the product addresses is providing us a central location to advertise and entice our clients to attend our events. We utilize Splash Event Marketing Platform on 15-20 events per year and especially appreciate the tracking links function.
Pros
Tracking links
Customizable web pages
Check in pages
Cons
Guest analytics as far as how many events a guest attends
Integration with hubspot
being able to block a email address from RSVPing and not just a domain.

Works well for regular event pages where we just need basic information but doesn’t help if I wanted to track ROI
Our initial intent in adopting Splash was to fully transition our event invitation process to the platform, leveraging its capabilities for templated invitations, guest management, and on-site check-in. The goal was to streamline event workflows, improve brand consistency, and enhance the attendee experience.
However, we’ve encountered several roadblocks that have limited our use of the platform. Currently, we primarily utilize Splash for on-site check-in and for building the initial shell of event invitations. While the platform offers potential for broader use, such as full-scale invite deployment and email automation, challenges around functionality, flexibility, and integration have prevented us from implementing it to its full extent.
We’re continuing to evaluate how to better integrate Splash into our event workflow, but at this time, its use remains relatively limited in scope.
Pros
When it works, the check-in feature is especially valuable and helps streamline guest arrival. However, over the past year, we've experienced a number of technical and performance issues that have impacted reliability and limited broader adoption.
Cons
There is definitely room for improvement—particularly around customer support. Having access to a live customer service phone line would significantly enhance the user experience.
Additionally, receiving clear, direct answers rather than being sent documentation to read through would make troubleshooting more efficient and less time-consuming especially when onsite

When we first started using Splash Event Marketing Platform, the platform showed great promise and worked well for our team’s needs. However, over the past year, we’ve encountered issue after issue—many of which are described by support as problems “no one else has ever experienced.” Unfortunately, this has happened frequently, making it difficult to trust the platform for consistent execution.
We are using Splash for an in-person Event. For Lead Sync we are using Adobe Marketo Marketing Tool. After creating an Event in Splash, we can manage everything within Splash, including changing the status and adding more questions to the form. For an in-person Event, we can easily use Splash and send automated emails through it upon audience activities.
Pros
In person events
Event program with Marketo software.
Easy to maintain event.
Cons
More user interface.
More easy way for Landing Page build.
Webinar Event.

We can generate leads for the event through the Splash Event page. Easy to gather audience through Splash, and easy to maintain leads with CRM and marketing tools through integration with Splash.
We used the CRM system Splash Event Marketing Platform for registrations to our hiring events, where candidates can register for a date and time along with uploading their resume to attend the event. It gives the candidate the ability to be in control of which date and time they will attend.
Pros
web based
Follow up communication with attendees being automated
Cons
Customer support, in my experience, rarely addresses the issue you may face - I spend more time resolving my own issues since
When the site doesn't work, or goes down - since we use it daily - it cause mass panic.
Tracking - I think this is an area that could definitely use some help is how the Marketing data is compiled and used.

It is the best thing for now, but I think it lacks some flexibility and customization. It works well for singular non complexed events. And the development team struggle to keep up with things or I should say client needs that tend to evolve.

We use Splash to create event landing pages, track registrations both within Splash as well as via Salesforce integration where invitees and registrants are tracked through campaigns. We use Splash to send reminder emails as well as integration to Zoom where we host our virtual events. It's important for us to know whether a person registered and attended, or did not attend so that we can send follow-up communications based accordingly. Splash allows us to do this easily.
Pros
Calendar Invites
Salesforce Integration
Waitlist
Cons
Multisession events
Events spanning multiple days with registration for each day independently
Ability to easily modify confirmation emails or calendar events
Likelihood to Recommend
Splash is well suited for single events, either in-person or virtual where registration is clearcut. For multiday events where a person needs the ability to register for sessions individually, not so much unless you are simply registering for the event as a whole. The confirmation emails get tricky in this case since you will receive a single confirmation for the event itself versus sessions-specific.
I have looked into using Splash Event Marketing Platform for a number of corporate events. All of the events were invitation only and were free for those invited to attend. Unfortunately, Splash continually came up short for this event type.
Pros
Out of the box designs
Backend user interface
Marketing integrations
Cons
A way to make events invite only without 15 steps for the person registering
Better marketing options for invite-only events
Less questions for the registrants to need to answer
Likelihood to Recommend
This is a great platform for paid events. Especially for companies that are looking for a standout design out of the box. Their themes are beautiful and the experience feels very upscale and professional for the registrant of paid events. For free events it’s quite clunky for the registrant and it’s less seamless. You don’t get that high-end feel since there is so many places it says “FREE”. When you’re trying to host an invite-only event, it’s not really about it being free as much as it’s about it being exclusive.
I primarily use splash for attendee management/registration. We build event landing pages with event details and CTA to register. Then we also end follow-up communications and confirmations via Splash.
Pros
The customization is the best I've seen out there
Once you get the hang of how it works you can really build everything out on your own
Easy attendee tracking and email communication processes
Organized system
Cons
In the beginning, it's frustrating to lean on customer support to figure out how to fix things, especially if the matter is timely, but I think that just comes with getting adjusted to a new system. Otherwise, no major complaints!

It really satisfies all of our needs when it comes to attendee management/registration/check-in. The new virtual capabilities are also useful and I'd like to utilize those more. Splash offers demos and onboarding to really show you how to take advantage of all of their capabilities.
Splash is being used mainly by our Talent Acquisition organization to put on virtual recruiting events for candidates interested in learning about and potentially joining our organization. We also use it for events for employer branding and talent attraction, so some of our users are in the marketing realms as well.
Pros
Event Marketing
Event Communications
Branding
Cons
Email templates
System integrations

I love to use Splash for self-contained events that are hosted by our company. From start to finish, it is easy to build the event page, market the event on social, invite attendees, keep track of guests, and run the event in-person or virtually. When taking part in an event where we are one company of many and the organizers are external to our company, like where we have a booth at a conference, we can still use Splash's event page for informational purposes.

Splash is great for:
<ul><li>landing pages for content</li><li>gated pages for content to capture data</li><li>registration pages for events</li><li>confirmation/reminder emails</li><li>virtual event/webinar hosting</li></ul>
We used Splash for all of our field events. With the volume we had it was much easier to create landing pages and track registrations that what we had been using previously. While the entire marketing team didn't use it for all events it was a critical technology that helped us move quickly.
Pros
Tracks registration.
Allows for quick edits.
Cons
The modify option for registered users wasn't the best.
Sometimes we had issues updating photos because the system wanted it done a certain way even though there were multiple options.
Likelihood to Recommend
When we would have quick turn events, Splash was great due to the ease of updating the landing page. We were also able to host several templates so we didn't have to start from scratch each time. The email function we didn't use often as they didn't seem to get through to everyone's inbox.
