What is TelemetryOS?

TelemetryOS is a vertically integrated platform for digital signage, interactive kiosks, and screen applications. It combines purpose-built Node hardware, a hardened Linux edge operating system, a cloud management console, an integrated video CDN, and an application runtime, so organizations manage content, devices, and custom apps in one system instead of stitching vendors together.

Content and scheduling:
Teams build playlists, set dayparting and calendar rules, and assign content to individual screens, groups, or regions. Priority-based scheduling resolves overlapping campaigns, and instant or CAP-triggered emergency overrides preempt scheduled content. A visual canvas editor supports multi-zone layouts, video walls, and touch navigation, with per-page scheduling and a draft-review-publish workflow.

Delivery and reliability:
An integrated video CDN with adaptive bitrate streaming optimizes media per device, and content caches locally so 4K playback continues through network outages. Proof-of-play reporting, screenshot capture, and CSV exports verify what played, where, and for how long, which supports advertising and compliance audits.

Applications and integrations:
Developers build screen applications in React and TypeScript using the TelemetryOS SDK, then publish from Git with staged rollouts and one-click rollback. REST APIs, webhooks, MQTT, and serial connections let screens respond to POS, ERP, sensor, and live data, so menu boards, dashboards, and kiosks update from real business conditions.

Fleet operations and security:
The console provides live device thumbnails, CPU, memory, and network telemetry, remote diagnostics and restart, group deployments, and automatic OS updates. Enterprise controls include SAML SSO, role-based access control, audit logging, app sandboxing, and SOC 2 and GDPR alignment.

Hardware:
Node Mini handles single-screen 4K signage from $299, Node Pro drives multi-display applications and I/O from $499, and Node Max runs on-device AI workloads. All Node devices are preconfigured and managed from the same console.

TelemetryOS is built by the team behind TelemetryTV, which has powered screens for organizations including Starbucks, New York Public Library, and Stanford University, across more than 40 countries with a 99.9% uptime SLA.
