A great product
TestDrive is an excellent tool for automation and the interface is relatively easy to use and learn. It addresses the issues of easy testing through quickly being able to run scripts. It definitely has met all of our automation needs.
- Easy automation.
- Great customer service.
- Easy script running.
- Relatively easy to implement.
- Crashes at times.
- Not as easy for inexperienced users as the interface can be confusing sometimes and things are hard to find.
- Sometimes it takes a while for things to load.
- Running scripts.
- Testing.
- The support team is really awesome and supportive.
- Has helped us perform testing that has saved us a lot of money.
- Has saved us a lot of time and made us a lot more efficient.
We have not tried other similar products so it is difficult to say, but we definitely enjoy this product and the support team to work with.

An automated quality assessment tool to test client-side and server-side legacy applications
TestDrive is used in our organization to test both the client-side and the server-side of our software. Its adaptable script technology helps us to run existing testing scripts over updated versions of the application.
- Testing our script in different environments and configurations with no extra work to be sure of browser compatibility.
- Run data-driven tests.
- Script maintenance.
- Not suitable for small applications.
- Generate a bank of test data that we could regularly refresh and rerun to prove that as we introduce changes to our systems.
- TestDrive is code-free software, so no need for programming skills to use it.
- Thanks to TestDrive, our automation is always ready to run, and the script maintenance lag is removed, testing can go ahead, and issues are found quicker.
- We no longer worry about varying response times for the application, nor do we no need to code "timing loops" to check if the application is in the right state.
