Top Calendar App

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

we need a solution that was easy to use and that everybody in the organization could quickly get set up. We also needed something to sync with everything else that we use such as Microsoft office and also HubSpot. We were looking for something that was reasonably priced and also was featured rich. We found it with them and Mohr. I have not yet seen a Calendar solution that was so easy to use that yet packed with awesome features. We were very impressed.

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Seamless integration
  • Task management
  • Customizable views
  • Automatic reminders

Cons

  • Need comparisons for multiple time zones

Likelihood to Recommend

Maybe if you are needing a large enterprise solution you may need something else but we have found that it fits all of needs as a 32 people team. It has worked flawlessly since we installed it. I keep focusing on this but it is a 30 min set up and that’s it.

My only regret is not trying it sooner!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I've been using TidyCal for a short time, but have already received rave reviews from some of my clients. It takes the hassle out of scheduling client meetings, coffee chats, and working sessions with my clients. I've even started recommending to my clients for their scheduling needs. My only regret so far is I wish I would've started using it sooner!

Pros

  • I can sync it with my Google Calendar, so no double bookings.
  • I can create several different types of meetings.
  • I can set my availability, so no meetings are scheduled when I need to be working on client work.
  • I can set a buffer between meetings.
  • I can set up 1:1 meetings or group meetings and even pick different locations.
  • It automatically fills in my Google Meet instructions for my clients.
  • It allows me to charge ahead for bookings.
  • Can't beat the price!

Cons

  • One of my clients wanted to set up membership subscriptions that can be billed through the app. As far as I can tell it doesn't have that capability yet.
  • It would be great if Square was one of the integrations.
  • Maybe being able to set travel time to in-person meetings by integration with Google Maps?

Likelihood to Recommend

TidyCal is an amazing app that rivals Calendly and Acuity. I really have not found a scenario that it won't work for. I can share the link personally, by email, or on my website. I've been able to customize it for all of my needs and most of my clients. Some people like to make appointments in person, but in this day and age it's not feasible with busy schedules.

A good option for solopreneurs

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm a life coach who uses TidyCal to schedule consultations, sessions, and introductory meetings. I appreciate the range of scheduling types I can create, as well as the ability to integrate Zoom and payments. I switched over to TidyCal from a competitor because I could do everything I needed for a much lower investment. I also love its simplicity. I can create what I need in a very short period of time and easily connect my scheduling page to my website, email signature, and social media pages. I've shared the tool with clients, and they love it, too.

Pros

  • The ability to create multiple booking types and personalize them
  • The integration of Zoom and payment types
  • The ability to create scheduling polls for group meetings

Cons

  • Integrations could be easier to find
  • I'd love to color-code my booking types
  • A video tutorial for new users and those who aren't tech-savvy would be helpful

Likelihood to Recommend

I think TidyCal is well-suited for solopreneurs, consultants and coaches. I don't know how it would work in a larger organization that might need to integrate it into a more robust calendaring system.

A great simple, easy to use product that does the job for a great price.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TidyCal simplifies the process of finding times to meet with customers and potential business partners. It allows me to create a simple way for folks to connect with me.

Pros

  • Simple interface
  • Reasonable price
  • Good support

Cons

  • I'd like to see the ability to connect unlimited calendars to my account so that I don't double book myself.

Likelihood to Recommend

For an entrepreneur running a smaller business who doesn't need all the bells and whistles of a program like Calendly, this can meet their needs and stay in budget. I don't think this would be the best program for a larger company that needs more options to customize the use cases for the program.

My review on TidyCal

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use TidyCal to let other people know what time I am available for a meeting so that they do not have to connect to me every time they want to schedule a meeting. This avoids wastage of time for me as well as for them and makes the process more streamlined.

Pros

  • Booking with day of the week and time range.
  • We can let people know agenda in advance.
  • We can create questions necessary to answer before scheduling a meeting.

Cons

  • There is a learning curve it takes some time for new user to understand the process.
  • UI can be made attractive.
  • Integration with other video conference tools like Amazon's chime

Likelihood to Recommend

-It is useful when we want to save a considerable amount of time out of our productive working hours by letting people know our availability in advance.

-Rather than using it as standalone software it would have been helpful if it is integrated with collaboration software like Microsoft teams, slack, etc. with API.

Cheap, simple and very efficient

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to schedule calls/meetings automatically from the web for business meetings, recruitment interviews, technical meetings and share calendars to optimize times and calendars. Also use for our customers can make the meetings/calss directly from the web. We made the integration with 365 outlook calendar and zoom without problems and easy mode. The price-performance ratio is perfect.

Pros

  • Integration with calendar tools, email servers and zoom
  • All functions of Calendly but less price
  • Easy of use and intuitive

Cons

  • Sometimes after embedding Tidycal to make reservations on the web, clicking on the Tidycal logo gives the message "tidycal.com refused to connect".
  • Does not have more customization options
  • Form field is only limited to textarea. Does not have radio, menus, or selection drop

Likelihood to Recommend

Very good solution, intuitive and very easy to use. Very good integration with 365 and google calendar. Some improvements that I would like to see included in future versions:

-Limit the number of calls/meetings/events per day.

-Change/edit an event already booked by the person who made the reservation or the host.

-Ability to add the name of the person who booked the call/meeting/event to the Zoom meeting title.

Scheduling woes begone! TidyCal is here to straighten you out.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TidyCal is a good solution for working outside the Google Calendar environment. Sharing schedules ad choosing meeting times with your team ad outward facing clients is great. Search functions well, integration was easy. Call links and video confrencing were easy to use and find. Zoom worked well ad it seems to connect well with other applications, Office365, Google, etc.

Pros

  • calendar management
  • meeting scheduling
  • outward facing client access

Cons

  • cost structure
  • aligning large team into system
  • troubleshooting timelines

Likelihood to Recommend

TidyCal is well suited in a business environment. Sales, consultation, etc. It would work well with international and spreadout teams. It is not a great product for educational use. Our ROI was low for meeting with parents and community. Would suggest using the trial run before purchasing. Again, a good product, perhaps not for all environments.

It is a wonderful meeting scheduling software that automates the process of scheduling and organizing meetings.

Not the best calendar booking software in my opinion

Rating: 5 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TidyCal is a Calendly alternative. It helps you book meetings without having to go back and forth over email and provides a link for people to book with you.

Pros

  • Meeting bookings
  • Easy integration with video call platforms
  • Can integrate with multiple calendars

Cons

  • The interface wasn't straightforward
  • Have to edit each meeting individually, no standard schedule

Likelihood to Recommend

TidyCal is basically like any other meeting appointment software. It lets you sync to your calendar and set up parameters around when people can book meetings with you. Personally, I found the interface confusing and didn't like that it didn't seem to give you an option to have a standard schedule.
