Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UserBob is used in my organization to test see user comments when using banking services, it addresses business problems such as the accessibility of the application, and the user experience among others, and its scope of use is to see what user problems the branch can present electronica and legal platforms used for suppliers.

some specific scenarios where UserBob may be suitable is for testing delivery apps, short trip apps like uber, clothing sales apps, and banking service apps where it is less suitable is for service apps or sites legal, medical, consulting, insurance sales, sale of products for vehicles, sale of houses, sale of construction materials.

Userbob is cheap, easy to use and fast to get data back

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UserBob helps to get user feedback about websites, mobile web, and apps. We can understand how a new user feels when visiting our website for the first time which helps us improve the experience. It was very quick to get feedback from the users. We routinely are able to test new designs.

  • user requirements are on the honor system
  • setting criteria is limited
  • simple front end

Likelihood to Recommend

It lowers friction to gather user data and makes it easy and simple to collect so we can test things out and get feedback quickly to then make adjustments. If you require the ability to segment the user base based on more than the honor system and in more complex demographics, then this tool will not be able to support you.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UserBob has been transformative for our business. We began using Usertesting.com essentially when they first launched, back in 2012 during our first startup and loved it. We recently started a new company and had new tests to run, and found usertesting to be prohibitively expensive, and needed an alternative. With a quick Google search we found userbob, and have been absolutely blown away with it. It's the exact basics of what you need, at 1/5th the cost! We have been able to run about 10 tests in less than 3 hours. The testers are amazing in quality (equal to usertesting.com), the videos are fantastic, and again, it's the cheapest! Couldn't recommend the service more highly.

Pros

  • Cheap, but high quality user testing.
  • Bare bones - just the basics of what you need. It lets you customize questions, customize audiences, and then see results!
  • Fast.

Cons

  • The UI could use a tad bit of polish.
  • I'd pay a few extra dollars to get people in a +150k income bracket, or an even more targeted demographic than what they offer.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's one size fits all for now. If you need someone very very specific, it may be less helpful, but those cases are few and far between. I think this service would work for 90% of user testing scenarios.

There's no better testing site than UserBob!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use UserBob to test out our web application. Our goal is to see how our system is used, find any obvious bugs, and also to see how user friendly our site is in general. UserBob is utilized by our engineers and product developers. It allows us to receive a quantity and quality of feedback quicker than any other source.

Pros

  • It provides quick and diverse feedback. We don't necessarily want the most web-savvy individuals testing our product, UserBob had a good mix of users with varying skill levels.
  • Extremely affordable. Of all the user testing services we looked at, UserBob provided the most benefit for its price.
  • They over-delivered on their services. I requested 5-minute videos with a specified task figuring that if the users did not get through the task in 5 minutes and quit then that would be as valuable as them completing the task; but all the users went overtime to complete the task so I could see exactly what our system was doing wrong.
  • The co-founder, John, reached out personally to ensure that I was satisfied with the level of service provided. Great customer support!

Cons

  • Haven't had any issues with UserBob.

Likelihood to Recommend

UserBob was great for finding issues in our web app. The testers were great at following the instructions sent over and provided valuable feedback while narrating their navigation through the system. I would highly recommend UserBob for user testing. It's quick, easy, and affordable. They will find issues with usability, navigation, and comment on the overall feel of your application, telling you what you've done right and what could be improved.
