Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UserWay is necessary for all the Wordpress websites I create. I love the confidence this plugin brings that my website will be completely accessibility compliant and work with all my users who may need this kind of functionality. The scope of my use case is only limited to the number of websites I design and develop every year.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Userway is a fantastic turnkey widget for our corporate website compliance. It was easy to implement and deploy and the team had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. The widget is highly adaptive and customizable options for every need. I have recommended it to other businesses; both large and small who need a solution that doesn't involve custom coding.

Likelihood to Recommend

UserWay is well suited for companies both small and large. Small businesses can protect themselves from scummy lawsuits for non compliant websites or e-commerce stores. Medium and large companies are able to keep compliance costs low and allows their IT or Dev teams to focus on the quality of the site architecture without having to create custom code or cobble together multiple widgets that usually slow down page load times.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use UserWay on our company website. As an Audiology Practice that serves patients with hearing loss, it is not uncommon for those same people to also have vision problems. The UserWay interface and options for vision and other disabilities are designed well and are very intuitive for users. We have received many compliments for implementing this software/widget on our website as it makes their first and recurrent visits to our website more enjoyable.

UserWay would be a "no brainer" for businesses and organizations that have older and special needs demographics of people using their website. I can't imagine having a website without this valuable service. It makes navigating and using our website much easier and enjoyable for people who are dyslexic, need a larger font, prefer to turn off animations, etc. Since it can be turned on and off by each user and reset back to normal defaults, I can't think of a scenario where this valuable resource would not make sense to have.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are trying to make sure all of our websites are user-friendly to every user, including those who may have limited abilities accessing the web. Seeing how we work in non-profit and healthcare, we want to be able to cater our services and information to everyone's access to the web.

Pros

The front-end user experience is seamless and very easy to use.
They have a support team that will answer any and all questions.
The widget is customizable to your interest.

Cons

The back-end experience is not the best -- it's difficult and not intuitive when navigating the settings.
They offer many cool services, but some are very very expensive.
Sometimes it is difficult to hide the widget on certain devices.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think User Way is well suited in most scenarios, including the ability for all users to access the information on our sites. Initially, I found it less appropriate when the widget would overlap with some website elements, but this was easily fixed as there are settings to change the widget positioning for desktop and mobile.
