Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Wagepoint is used to manage payroll for our Canadian employees. It is being used by our people ops manager, our finance manager, and our bookkeeper. It's an easy way to manage payroll, salaries, and pay cycles. It allows our team to quickly and efficiently manage and pull data regarding payroll.

Pros

Manages payroll
Maintains employee data--addresses, contact info, etc.

Cons

The data is not quite as robust as other providers
It does not integrate with employee healthcare systems

Likelihood to Recommend

I would recommend Wagepoint for small to medium-sized organizations. It is a very simple way to keep track of payroll and salary information. It also allows you to differentiate between full-time and part-time employees. I would not recommend Wagepoint for larger organizations that require robust data and a variety of roles.

Cheap but high quality payroll service!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Wagepoint is being used for our payroll processing in Canada. The system is pretty straightforward and easy to understand. We didn't need to hire a payroll assistant because of this payroll provider. They will process your payroll after confirming the usual requirements such as hours worked, add/remove new/old employees. They'll take care of the remittance and filing.

Pros

Cheap cost
Helpful staff
Highly accurate in payroll processing

Cons

Reports need to be improve. You cannot customize your preferred report. Thus, manual reporting happens at times. But you can't complain on the cost.
Flexibility on late notice of payroll processing. Lowering additional fees could help us.
Need to ask clients for feedback on the use of system.

Likelihood to Recommend

I highly recommend Wagepoint, especially for start-up companies. Their fees are really cheap and the quality of their work is really good. They may have room for improvement on the reporting side, but given their flexibility, they can always find a way to help your organization. I definitely recommend Wagepoint.
