A Fantastic Option to Train Users on Phishing
We use it just in our department. We have utilized it for testing and actual use within the company as well. We mostly use it to resell to clients. We arrange a time to send out the phishing emails, and then see what the results are. This is followed by sending out the training.
- There is great personalization with email format.
- Great reporting to view participant progress.
- The licensing model is not as geared toward temporary usage. Licenses are encouraged to be paid for constantly.
- Our objective is to protect our clients, and it most definitely helps with that.
- The platform allows you to measure who does what within the system. We've seen decreases in interaction with the test emails.
We have implemented Webroot Security Awareness Training (SAT) across the entire firm, and also implement it for our clients. It has been an excellent product to determine the vulnerability of our/client staff members to phishing and other malware intrusion attempts, and has excellent training guides which has reduced recurrence by over 70%.
- Test staff members with simulated phishing and malware emails/landing pages. Product has a very realistic payload.
- Records detailed test results (delivered, read, click-thru's, etc) providing solid metrics to evaluate staff knowledge and track improvement over time.
- Solid training videos that can be incorporated into landing pages explaining what the end user did incorrectly, and how to guard against such attempts in the future.
- Other training collateral (posters, infographics, etc) that can be used by the client as teaching aids.
- More industry-specific training modules, particularly those covered by federal and state data regulations.
- Compact, graphic client/site reporting overview page (classic "Green-Yellow-Red" style) showing major areas for improvement, etc.
- As our clients IT dept, we have seen a precipitous drop (over 70%) in the number of "is this email bad?" service tickets, as their staff is better trained and equipped to self-evaluate these types of intrusions.
- Likewise, the number if incidents related to malware/phishing has dropped by almost 90% when this was rolled out in addition to Webroot DNS filtering services.
