What is WYSIWYG Web Builder?

WYSIWYG Web Builder is a visual (drag & drop) web site design tool that helps create websites without having to learn HTML.
Drag & drop objects or complete blocks on the page and the software will automatically generate all the HTML code and related files when the website is published. Besides standard HTML elements there are advanced tools like slideshows, photo galleries, carousels, navigation menus, and forms.

Create the web layout you want
Other web design tools are usually focused on one type of layout, for example they only support flexible layout (Bootstrap based) or absolute layout. WYSIWYG Web Builder supports all popular web design methods. Users can create flexible layouts using layout grid (Bootstrap-like), flexbox and its CSS grid. But WYSIWYG Web Builder also supports (responsive) fixed/absolute layouts where the user can place objects anywhere.

No programming knowledge needed
WYSIWYG Web Builder is not an HTML editor, which means that there is no need to know how to write code to create a website. With its drag and drop interface, users can create websites that work on any device. And there are tools for both beginners and professional designers/developers.

Up-to-date
WYSIWYG Web Builder aims to give regular updates and improvements. These include Dark Color Scheme support, Customize Scrollbars, SEO optimization, Lottie Animations, Cards, Shape Dividers, Bootstrap 5, CSS Grid, Flexbox, Animations, Motion Effects, and Ecommerce.

WYSIWYG Web Builder
4 years of experience
I develop webistes for small local business and local governments. I switched to WYSIWYG Web Builder (Wizzy) about 4 years ago when I ran into limitations with the development software I was using. Wizzy allows me to develop truly custom website for my clients, not being tied to templates. I can build a simple site for a customer in a few hours.

"WYSIWYG Web Builder is not an HTML editor, which means that you do not need to know how to write code to create a beautiful website. With its easy to use drag and drop interface, you'll be able to create websites that look amazing and work flawlessly on any device. Plus, there are a huge set of tools for both beginners and professional designers/developers, so you'll be able to create exactly the website you envision."

Sites can be hosted on my reseller hosting account or easily load sites to a customer's hosting company. If a customer needs to make updates to certain parts of their site, that is easily accomidated by an online editor that only allows changes to specified sections. I don't have to worry about a customer messing up the whole site. Wizzy is inexpensive enough that I frequently included a license with a project along with the development files so my customers never have to feel like they are being held hostage to their developer.
  • Rapidly build website
  • Builds site that load fast
  • Allows for competely custom sites
Cons
  • The depth of the product and available options can be a bit overwhelming when getting started
If you prefer a PC/local development environment vs a fully online development tool, WYSIWYG Web Builder may be the best product available. If you are frustrated by bloated CMS systems that require constant updates and fixing of expired or conflicting plugins WYSIWYG Web Builder could be for you.
  • I am able to build truly custom sites for my customers
  • I am able to build sites with less time and effort, resulting in competitive pricing
  • I am able to build sites with less overhead, resulting in better profits
I still use Xara for graphic design and image editing. But the web development in WYSIWYG Web Builder is far superior. Compared to online editors like Weebly, Wix, etc WYSIWYG Web Builder allows you to experiment with different options saved to different files. With the online builders you can't easily have 5 options to show a client. And you don't have backup copies in case the work you did, didn't work out.

Web Development and Marketing
Product works well and really doesn't need a lot of support
  • Web Development
  • Marketing Landing Pages
  • Front End for presenting Database information
This is my fourth year using WYSIWYG Web Builder and as many new releases. Each new release brings a staggering number of new features and enhancements. But the updates, fixes and new features are not limited to a once a year update. The product is updated with interium releases every few months.
Yes
Xara Web Designer - nice tool but doesn't work well with other web products such as ecommerce and php scripts.

Weebly - nice tool but WYSIWYG Web builder allows us to greatly reduce our monthly cost

Wix - probably a very powerful online tool, but not very intuituve. Spent a month building a simple site along with the help of another developer.
  • Product Features
Originally purchased WYSIWYG Web Builder to integrate with Ecwid ecommerce. Once I started with it I quickly replaced the other web building tools I was using.
Just wish I had found WYSIWYG Web Builder sooner.
implementaion is simple. install the product and setup your hosting ftp settings.
  • Implemented in-house
No
Change management was minimal
  • No issues encountered
The developer actively replies to post on the support forum. It is typical to get a reply in a few hours. The support for this product exceeds any other product I have used in the past 25 years. In addition to rapid replies from the developer the support community is very active on the forum along with several forum members providing excellent training videos.
No preimium support is offered. Support is via email and forum. The forum provides excellent support from the user community and the developer.
No
I just went live with a customer's website this week. I had an issue and posted to the forum. Had a reply back within hours. The reply suggested the reason for my issue and options to resolve.
The one reason for a 9 instead of a 10 is not a ding to the product itself. When first starting out the available options and tools are a bit overwhelming. You might be able to achieve the same visual result in multiple ways. As a new user you will need to learn which options work best for you. The online tutorials are good and there are a number of very good videos available on YouTube. The support from the forum is great. New users are treated with respect and provided support and guidance. (That is certainly not the case in many support forums) After fours years and dozens of websites I am still learning new features and tools for enhancing my customer's sites.
  • Basic page layout
  • Integrating external scripts/code
  • Creating and working with FlexGrid layouts
