Overall Satisfaction with Acronis Advanced Backup

Acronis is used for backing up physical hosts located at various sites around the state. We are backing to various forms of media like tapes, RDX, external hard drives and network attached storages.

Pros

  • Backups up to any media
  • Recovery of backups
  • easy of use

Cons

  • remote management
  • cloud backups are extra
  • reliability of restoration is the key metric, never had issues with restorations
the interface is clean and easy to understand, things arent stacked 4-5 menus deep.
logs and straight forward and easy to understand the problem
Acronis is our go to workhorse we know in and out, veeam fills in the gaps we have with Acronis

very easy to setup and use, the business support is great. Acronis offers instant restore for (near) instant RTO. the addition of malware protection makes it allot nicer
