Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
Used Adobe Captivate Prime as a start-up's first learning management system for internal training, to automate recordkeeping, and to retain/version policies and procedures. The company is a vertically integrated manufacturing, distribution and retail firm that operates in a strict regulatory environment. We were looking for a tool to provide training structure and flexibility for employees, and to clarify career pathways through training goals.
- User experience, especially for admins is great
- Various integrations allow for expansion and growth with the business
- Pricing is reasonable for a trusted brand like Adobe
- None really -- this was the best of the three LMS options I reviewed.
- Standardizing practices through more-clear training material -- more efficient labor
- Flexible timing of training, less labor hours
- Improving employee retention
- Less reporting time for managers
Adobe Captivate Prime was easy to deploy. It was implemented within a month, and it's easy to expand users and pathways.
My experience with purchasing was good. Payment and plans are very straightforward and easy to understand, and grow in the future. Our follow up costs are associated with content production only, as we want to make the most out of how accessible Adobe Captivate Prime is for employees, e.g., accessing video training content on mobile devices.
Adobe provided exceptional customer support largely by creating a product and marketing that requires very little customer service intervention. Customer service was attentive and followed up regularly.

- SAP Litmos and Docebo LMS
Adobe's user interface, integration options and pricing were the primary reasons we chose Adobe Captivate Prime over Docebo and SAP Litmos. It's a robust software and I have used Adobe Creative Suite extensively in the past, so trust the product quality and customer service. SAP Litmos is also enterprise scale and would have been fine, but I prefer Adobe's UI.
