Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime

Used Adobe Captivate Prime as a start-up's first learning management system for internal training, to automate recordkeeping, and to retain/version policies and procedures. The company is a vertically integrated manufacturing, distribution and retail firm that operates in a strict regulatory environment. We were looking for a tool to provide training structure and flexibility for employees, and to clarify career pathways through training goals.
  • User experience, especially for admins is great
  • Various integrations allow for expansion and growth with the business
  • Pricing is reasonable for a trusted brand like Adobe
  • None really -- this was the best of the three LMS options I reviewed.
  • Standardizing practices through more-clear training material -- more efficient labor
  • Flexible timing of training, less labor hours
  • Improving employee retention
  • Less reporting time for managers
Adobe provided exceptional customer support largely by creating a product and marketing that requires very little customer service intervention. Customer service was attentive and followed up regularly.
Adobe's user interface, integration options and pricing were the primary reasons we chose Adobe Captivate Prime over Docebo and SAP Litmos. It's a robust software and I have used Adobe Creative Suite extensively in the past, so trust the product quality and customer service. SAP Litmos is also enterprise scale and would have been fine, but I prefer Adobe's UI.
Adobe Captivate Prime is well suited as a first LMS software for a company with adequate financial, training and audio-visual resources, and moderately tech savvy system administrators. I used this software for a startup company, and as an experience Adobe product user, it was easy for me to use and also identify where I needed to develop additional content. The stock content was good but I didn't review all of it, so can't recommend it or not for a mature corporations looking to standardize the policies.
