Firefly is pretty slick...but is it right for you? Here's what I learned after putting it through it's paces...
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly
As a digital marketing agency, a lot of our clients require seasonal imagery. For instance, an elegant event space. Just yesterday, I have professional images of the interior of the event space, all newly remodeled. The issue becomes that since it is entirely remodeled, there aren't any "old" images for the holidays. Thanks to Firefly, I was able to create Halloween, thanksgiving, and Xmas promotions all with the standard imagery that I had.
Pros
- Removes background.
- Changes in lighting and elements in the image.
- Creates unique artwork from scratch.
- It's VERY fast.
Cons
- It's not very good at working outside of the constraints of the program.
- Human imagery is pretty dodgy.
- It doesn't handle complex generation of images very well.
- It's infinitely valuable for speed and timing.
- It's helped me land clients at $1400/month, doing nothing but image generation and posting for them once a day.
- It is excellent at getting attention to your services. People (your customers) are likely very interested in at least exploring the possibilities of AI.
I tried entering it above, but none came up. I've also worked with ChatGPT (paid and free). Poe.com (paid and free) and Midjourney (paid). All of them created better imagery than Firefly. None were as fast or as easy to use. So, depending on the depth of your work, definitely give Firefly a shot.
