Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

We use Firefly to generate background graphics and illustrations for events. Using Firefly to create original illustrations based on our text input with our color palette to create our hero image has been awesome. We can also use it to create sub-graphics, layouts, and supporting graphics. This is especially useful in creating graphics for powerpoint decks.

Pros

  • Wide variety of options for each image generation.
  • Ability to ask for different image dimensions and ratios.
  • Drill down to more options based on an image.

Cons

  • Realistic imagery. Everything we generate we only use the illustration style.
  • Some of the graphics have an AI look and are not believable.
  • The variation of graphic styles sometimes is limited.
  • It has saved us a ton of money in stock graphics.
  • It has allowed us to have original artwork for low cost.
  • Faster ability to build and create slide decks.
  • Creation of more on brand graphics.
It's very easy to use. The UX/UI is simple and highly graphical, which helps new users jump in. I like the left sidebar, which shows the different options for image generation, size, style, color, etc. It is nice that they show you what options you have easily so you can see what is possible and don't have to dig for those tools and options.

Are you happy with Adobe Firefly's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Firefly live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Firefly go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Firefly again?

Yes

It is awesome for making background graphics for slide decks, especially if you are looking to create a hero graphic and then have related backgrounds and elements created that tie into it well. I also like using it to take one image and expand it by asking for the image to be large or to add negative space. It does a very subpar job of creating realistic images.
