Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

Adobe Firefly is used within our organization to develop graphics or imagery that is more abstract in nature. We struggled to find appropriate abstract imagery to support thought leadership content that was eye catching and relevant. Firefly has freed up our graphic design team's time, while allowing members of the marketing organization to take a first pass at visualizations for content.

Pros

  • Abstract concepts
  • Style-matching
  • Images you might not have conceptualized on your own

Cons

  • Realistic details
  • Ability to update prompts for very specific edits/changes
  • Higher-resolution outputs
  • Saves time, specifically freeing up our graphic designers
  • More options with less lift
  • Alternative to stock
Adobe Firefly is very usable, but it can sometimes struggle to interpret my prompts. You have to be very specific with your prompts and style guides in order to get an output that matches your need AND look/feel of your existing brand. As both the platform and the users improve, so too will the output.
We've also used Photoshop Beta to develop images with generative fill. This has been more helpful if I have a specific vision in mind, or need to work within an existing graphic or image. Each tool has its benefits and drawbacks. Important to know your tools and which is the best for the job.

Do you think Adobe Firefly delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Firefly's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Firefly live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Firefly go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Firefly again?

Yes

Adobe Firefly is well suited for our organization's abstract imagery needs. It does a nice job of replacing the need for generic stock imagery and instead, creates eye-catching visuals that might otherwise not have been available to us. It is not as successful creating realistic, photo-like graphics for our specific industry.
