Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly
Adobe Firefly is used within our organization to develop graphics or imagery that is more abstract in nature. We struggled to find appropriate abstract imagery to support thought leadership content that was eye catching and relevant. Firefly has freed up our graphic design team's time, while allowing members of the marketing organization to take a first pass at visualizations for content.
Pros
- Abstract concepts
- Style-matching
- Images you might not have conceptualized on your own
Cons
- Realistic details
- Ability to update prompts for very specific edits/changes
- Higher-resolution outputs
- Saves time, specifically freeing up our graphic designers
- More options with less lift
- Alternative to stock
We've also used Photoshop Beta to develop images with generative fill. This has been more helpful if I have a specific vision in mind, or need to work within an existing graphic or image. Each tool has its benefits and drawbacks. Important to know your tools and which is the best for the job.
