Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly
We used Adobe Firefly to generate images for our call center population to be used in training. We can control the cultural diversity of the images to ensure we represent everyone equally. Due to the nature of image generation, we can get pretty specific regarding our needs.
Pros
- Fast generation
- High quality images
- Ease of use
Cons
- Realistic generation of hands
- Ability to tweak your requests
- Reference previous generations to put them in additional poses.
- Instead of finding an image, you can generate one much faster. Example, we may spend 15 minutes looking for the right image whereas we can generate one in 1 minute.
- If you a Creative Cloud subscriber, this is a no brainer from a cost perspective.
- Because we cannot verify how the tool was trained, our legal use case is limited.
- Google Gemini and ChatGPT
Adobe Firefly is as easy, if not easier to use versus its competitors in the creative space. However, because it is so easy, it lacks the ability to tweak its settings to the degree a creative would expect. The biggest benefits is its integration into Adobe PhotoShop and it's ability to target generation.
