Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Flash

Adobe Flash (now rebranded as Adobe Animate) is used within the marketing department to produce animated graphics for emails and other digital marketing purposes. Aside from the actual program, Flash is used internally to view interactive elements on sites such as watching videos and streaming webinars.
  • Ability to make animated elements
  • Cross-functionality
  • Integration with other Adobe programs
  • Cumbersome interface
  • Dated technology
  • Limited capabilities
  • Diversify creative
  • Diversify internal software offerings
As mentioned earlier, Photoshop is an easier program to work with and you can use it to make animated images for digital marketing. It's usually easier to just use Photoshop because the controls are not as cumbersome and there is a minimal learning curve.
The essential elements that make Flash unique are no longer valid as other software does what Flash does and better. For example, simple animations can easily be done in Photoshop rather than Flash.

Using Adobe Flash

Flash is usable but definitely has a learning curve that a novice user may need to Google a few tutorials prior. The seamless integration with other Adobe software products is nice for loading content from the cloud. Plus it's great for storing and saving work on the go.
