Pros
- By leveraging smart campaigns and segmentation tools I can actually laser target leads more effectively that allows me to do so without any manual intervention.
- I love the depth of its integration with our CRM as every activity associated to a lead like email open, form fill and what not syncs through and literally keeps sales in line.
- The analytics dashboard in Maketo Engage is quite useful and provides me with great insight and context so I can understand what is working versus what isnt.
Cons
- The interface is also kind of old and maybe slow sometimes, like when you change workspace or clone stuff.
- Complex nurture flows grow unwieldy quickly if something goes wrong and debugging the logic is more of a headache than it should be.
- Reporting setup isn’t as intuitive as I’d like to see and lots of time spent figuring out how to efficiently pull good data.
- It has allowed us to reduce lead to mql cycle since we can automate and prioritize follow ups on behavior scoring.
- Additionally the enhanced campaign tracking and attribution data have made it easier to track marketings direct impact on pipeline growth.
