Overall Satisfaction with Alora Home Health Software

Alora Home Health is used on a daily basis by our company. It enables us to chart in home visit notes, write orders, fax plan of care, perform billing and track accounts receivables. We are able to pull reports and know that we are staying CMS compliant with visit verification. It has helped us tremendously with our new company and it is the best decision I made as a business owner.

Pros

  • Integrated billing to Inovolon clearinghouse
  • Awesome Customer Support

Cons

  • A plan for next visit feature would be nice
  • The wounds charted from SOC to role over into the first visit note rather then adding it back
  • Most billing companies charge 3-5% of your return to utilize their services. Alora has saved us that expense soley by the ease of their product. The built in ability to send claims straight to clearinghouse saves us a large percentage that would normally have to go to a 3rd party billing agency. Allows us to keep our money in house.
  • Alora provides a QA center and an area where all documents can pulled quickly that makes it super simple for us as an agency to keep up with our ability to do Clinical Record Reviews which is important for us to stay accredited and keep up with the top standard we strive for.
The small issues I have had are all minor and not enough to reduce the rating. This software was easy to implement, the customer support team was friendly and relatable and never made me feel like any questions was stupid, and the ability to keep up with requirements and have ease during my state survey built in was HUGE. I could not have made it to where we are without Alora.

I recently had 3 claims that I kept getting rejected through the clearinghouse. I called customer support and was able to get real time help same work day. I was able to set up zoom call and share screen and was walked through all the ways that could be causing problem. Guided me through how to correct problem and gave me more confidence to do it next time solo.
