At Diageo we use Anaplan for commerical and financial planning. It has been currently deployed in our beer business for P&L calculation and sales planning. For spirits and wines it is currently used for sales and distributor planning. Anaplan is highly effective in communicating sales goals and distributor collaboration.

Anaplan is ideal for situations where large Excel files are exchanged and communication/analysis is diffiuclt. By consolidating communications and sales targets in a single "space" it becomes extremely efficient to plan.
