Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan
It's used by the entire sales organization to orchestrate the commissions plans and payout. We went from managing all our commissions on a spreadsheet to automating it in a consistent way on Anaplan. Previously, the commissions process was error-prone and provided limited visibility to the individual reps. Now, there's more visibility and accuracy. The set up process is longer than Excel but we had a good third party vendor help us implement the solution. It is more costly than Excel but provides better long-term scalability.
- Flexibility to move between different time periods with the field selectors
- Flexibility to see different pivots/views of the data instantly
- Different levels of access to different data
- Formula fields cannot be easily overwritten
- Reports with standard text with field values don't appear professional (same fonts) or seamless
- In one dashboard, you con't have flexibility to hide certain lines for some people
It provides scalability for the future when we implement forecasting, territory planning and budgeting.
