Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan
Anaplan is being used as a FP&A expense side planning tool. It is used for the whole organization. It is also used for headcount reporting, and vendor tracking. The recruiting department uses Anaplan more heavily than other departments, as it is where we manage several aspects of the hiring process.
- Real time updates
- Easy access from anywhere
- Good customer support. Anaplan contacts always do their best to be helpful when issues arise.
- Good value for money, particularly compared with systems like Hyperion.
- Easy implementation, again particularly compared with systems like Hyperion.
- Glitchy. "History" will sometimes disappear, system will unexpectedly slow down.
- Too much downtime for updates. These should be done in middle of the night, Anaplan is used most by finance people, who often work weekends.
- Reporting not nice looking, requires additional work outside of the system.
I've used other products in the past, but I came into this company knowing I would be using Anaplan specifically. Thus far I am still fine with that decision.
