Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan

developed 4 Anaplan models in my client's companies. Each model is used in one
department, by 50-100 users. The business area I'm
mainly assigned is SCM. Some people make production plans, inventory plans, or
carry-in plans only by their experience. So that, the business operations are
black-box and complex. We created logic to calculate proper production
volume and show all necessary data with Anaplan.

- Real-time calculation.
- Agile implement: easy to learn for developers. possible to add new functions.
- Beautiful UI.
- The classic dashboard was easier to manage release. With NUX, it's difficult to use ALM.
- It's not a good idea to use Anaplan as an account book. Do not expect the same response speed with excel, because it's a cloud solution. Use Anaplan for complex calculations.
- Anaplan doesn't have a job scheduler. To implement an interface, Anaplan requires other solutions to kick the Anaplan Connect batch.
- Anaplan doesn't have the function "TODAY()". To get the date, you need to implement an interface.
- Real-time calculations.
- Security (Even in the same master, users can only see their related data).
- Agile implement.
- Profitability: Made profitability per customer visible, so that end-user can find less profitable customers.
- Efficiency: Because Anaplan solved excel bucket relay, work volume has reduced.
- Inventory decrease: We created logic to calculate proper inventory level so that end-user can decrease unnecessary stock to save warehouse fees.
