Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan
Anaplan is helping businesses solve many problems, including consolidating disparate business processes, eliminating inconsistent spreadsheets, and bringing together various planning groups. In addition, it supports use cases (FP&A, SPM, Supply Chain) across nearly all enterprise business functions. My origination focuses on finical services uses cases, specifically for private equity groups. The last two implementations I have been a part of were Waterfall Automation and Fund Performance modeling.

Anaplan far exceeds Excel sheet. Not only with performance but being a cloud-based software, this allows for true connected planning and collaboration on a scalable level. I love the ease of building in Anaplan compared to the Excel files/models I used to work with. The syntax is straightforward, and the drill-down feature makes it easy to troubleshoot issues.
