Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan

We use Anaplan mainly for financial planning and performance reporting. The use cases are:
Sales planning,
Operational costs planning,
Capital expenditure planning,
Monthly rolling forecasting,
Budgeting,
Long range financial planning and forecasting,
Production of financial statements,
Performance analysis and reporting.

Mainly for financial planning right now but aiming to extend to other areas of the business such as Sales operation planning, Workforce planning, Inventory planning etc

Anaplan has the advantage of multidimensionality and fast calculation engine which is lacking in most of the above. Scenario planning is easier using Anaplan. Anaplan is not an off the shelf tool like most softwares that have been prebuilt to address specific problems/ issues. Ability to model any business processes when using Anaplan was the main reason why we selected it

Fast calculation engine, multidimensionality, connectedness and real-time data not rivalled by any other tool out there. Very good at handling large data and good at integration with the not long ago inhouse CloudWorks. I have been using Anaplan since 2015/ 16 and much more better than other tools and Microsoft Exel I have used previously
