Overall Satisfaction with Apify

We primarily use Apify to scrape data from LinkedIn in order to track and monitor engagement from our ideal customer profiles. This helps us understand how prospects interact with our content, identify potential buying signals, and refine our outreach strategy.

Before Apify, gathering this type of data was manual, time-consuming and not scalable.

The scope of our use case is to support sales and marketing teams with actionable data that guides smarter engagement.

Pros

  • User interface
  • Community building
  • Scraping
  • Scalability
  • Integrations & APIs

Cons

  • Chrome extension
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Targeted outreach preparation
  • Detecting hidden existing customer interest
I would rate Apify’s usability very highly because the platform is intuitive and seamless once you get used to it. For someone without a technical background, there can be a short learning curve in the first couple of days, especially when customizing actors or understanding the workflow.
Apify stood out mainly for its ease of use. The interface is much more intuitive, and the learning curve is far shorter, especially for those who are not highly technical.

Another major advantage is the availability of community-built pre-built actors. While other platforms also offer templates, they often come with limitations or higher costs. Apify feels much more accessible and friendly in this regard.

Do you think Apify delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Apify's feature set?

Yes

Did Apify live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Apify go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Apify again?

Yes

Apify is particularly well-suited for monitoring engagement on LinkedIn, such as tracking when our target audience interacts with our posts.

We also use it to monitor feeds around specific keywords, which helps us identify relevant posts and engage with authors.

However, Apify is less appropriate for continuous, always-on monitoring. Scraping platforms like LinkedIn constantly across many accounts would require too many credits and become inefficient. Instead, it is much better suited for scheduled, one-time extractions (e.g., daily, weekly, or monthly).
