Overall Satisfaction with Apify

I use the Google Maps Apify scraper to conduct customer research on target businesses. The Apify Scraper returns Google Reviews that an AI agent can process and synthesize in order to designate them as a worthy lead or not. Apify is great for targeting, isolating, and packaging the data I need to generate a lead list for the product I am trying to sell.

Pros

  • Returns Google reviews
  • Transforms LinkedIn searches into usable JSON format for additional HTTP requests
  • Easy interface for entering info for the type of data I want to return

Cons

  • Apify can be too voluminous in the data it returns
  • Apify is not great for scraping LinkedIn job postings -- it returns a lot of irrelevant data
  • I have yet to commercialize Apify so I am not the best candidate for this question
I am a coder so I am more technical prone than the average user but I prefer the JSON led approach to making calls and requests -- plus, I like the wide array of available endpoints for running actors or returning dataset items.
  • Apollo.io
Apify is more data heavy than Apollo and can be used to greater effect. Also, Apollo is not a very user friendly service and Apify is much more easily navigable than Apollo.
