Overall Satisfaction with Apptio Cloudability

We use cloudability for cloud cost reporting and optimization on Azure & AWS.

Pros

  • Cost reporting
  • AWS Rightsizing recommendations
  • True cost explorer

Cons

  • Azure rightsizing and RI recommendations
  • Utilization reporting
  • Anomaly detection
  • No real time data.
  • Needs a lot of effort to setup integrations with our reporting tools due to API constraints.
  • Not very suitable for Azure and GCP.
Needs a lot of effort to onboard the cloud accounts/subscriptions on cloudability.
  • ApptioOne
We are only using Cloudability for now.
When compared to other tools for multi-cloud cost management, Cloudability is more streamlined and customizable.

Well, in my opinion, Cloudability is performing very well in the current market that is filled with cloud cost management tools like Turbonomics, Cloudzero and many more. But I want to emphasize that it isn't GCP-ready yet and lacks some maturity with Azure as well.
