- Cloudability helps is generating reports for aws usage based on tags.
- cloudability helps in generating rightsizing reccomendtaions for saving aws cost
- cloudability helps in forecasting aws bill and helps in budgeting
- CloudAbility gives optimization recommendations based on past 1 month usage only. Mostly business owners are comfortable on seeing recommendations based on past 2-3 months usage. CloudAbility can do some improvement here.
- Cloudability just gives downsizing recommendations, as an additional feature CloudAbility can work on providing upscaling recommendations as well.
- Cloudability can bring lambda and EKS in its scope as well.
- we have been able to achieve savings of almost $1.2 M USD in last 1 year using cloudability.
- cloudability helps in providing reports of untagged resources, identifying such resources and performing cleanup is very important. we have been able to save almost $400K USD by cleanup of such untagged resources.

we are not using other Apptio products.
we have used cloudsaver tool, that helped in just cost saving but not giving any other insights. we used cost optimizer tool by aws, but problem with that service is you need to login to each account to get data, there is no way to get consolidated data across all aws accounts. that way cloudability is better.
