Overall Satisfaction with ApptioOne

We use ApptioOne for Technology chargeback to our business clients and cost transparency using the business taxonomy framework
  • Cost allocations
  • Transparency of costs
  • Holding large volumes of data
  • Lack of financial locks from prior periods
  • Reporting
We import data from multiple data sources that has been configured prior to entering Apptio
  • Providing the business with transparency of costs for them to make better business decisions
  • Has given Tech Finance/IT more credibility with the business
  • Tracking grow/run so that we can benchmark against competitors
  • Support the Strategic Tech Priority of making iT Spend count
They help troubleshoot issues, but the turnaround time can often be longer than we would like
ApptioOne can support cost transparency at a much granular level

ITP gives the ability to plan at the detailed resource level and build internal labor cost pools. Level of detail we are tracking for cost transparency is pretty granular, but Apptio is a good tool for that. We do 3 year glidepaths and it is difficult to forecast out that far without performance issues
