Happy we implemented Archie for managing desk booking

Overall Satisfaction with Archie

We use it for both desk hoteling and visitor sign in. It solves the issue of people showing up and not having a place to work, especially now that we downsized our physical footprint.

Pros

  • The live map view is super helpful for finding people.
  • Visitor check-in looks very professional on the iPad.
  • Integrates well with our Google Calendar.

Cons

  • I wish there were more options for different resources beyond offices, desks, rooms instead of listing the rest under "Resources".
  • It has saved our office manager hours of manual scheduling. We also cut down on unused desk space by seeing the actual usage data.
It's very intuitive. New hires usually get the hang of it right away. Visitors never have issues either because the process is just so easy.

Great for hybrid offices where nobody has a permanent desk anymore. Less useful if your staff is 100% in-office with fixed seating, since you'd only use it for other spaces in that case.
